wow! I basically had the same exact experience about a month ago when I picked one up at Goodwill, right down to the 50+ years expired film! I stumbled upon this video while searching how to take my J66 apart to see if I could see if anything was wrong with the wiring. I'm sad your camera didn't print a photo but also kinda glad I'm not the only one lol.

Well first red flag was the 2 aluminum caps falling off the negative end so that exposed pretty much all the film making it useless And the second red flag was the paper not having a adhesive on it so this was just bad film

Just got one of these at a thrift shop. I found a roll on eBay and will give it a try. Looks pretty fiddly.

Sometimes the film in the middle of the roll isn´t dried out. It would have been worth a try

Where did you find the film? I need roll or two... I have one still in the box ... Never has had any film in it.

Do these camera need batteries??

Yes they take a kind of battery that is no longer made but some similar sized batteries might work. It is not necessary though unless you want to use a flash.

I have the same exact camera in perfect condition. I even have an adapter for type 48 color film on it but I have no idea what that means! I know nothing about cameras especially old ones but I love this and would love to know more about it

cool! I just looked it up, it's similar to the film that I use in this video. Another defunct Polaroid roll film. Still pretty neat though! I'm hoping to play around with this camera in the future and make it usable with some other film type.

Treehouse Imagery if you find out anything it would be awesome if you made a video about it! Do you know where the battery is for the camera?
