The reason products like Air Up give you a weird feeling is that you only smell it when you inhale. When you eat or drink normal foods you also smell the food on the exhale because there is air circulating from your mouth back up to your nose. Your brain is very smart and actually is able to sort of ''subtract'' the smells from the inhale from the smells of the exhale. That way you know you taste something you are eating and not just something in your environment. Imagine eating a dessert at a restaurant when the table next to you is eating sizzling chicken fajitas, you smell the fajitas but you taste your dessert. These products can only ''sort of'' trick your brain, but can't fully trick your brain.

That's fascinating and explains the range in responses. I'd imagine there's an average range where most people's sensitivities to taste and aroma fall, and product testing cycles would likely lead the manufacturer to shape the product for that range's preferences. If you're an edge case in either direction then it's going to be unpleasant. I am like Grackle and usually experience fruit teas as "a blueberry once sneezed in this water" so I am definitely not the target consumer for that thing...

@@SquidgyPixelit was proven a scam a long time before that. Manfred Mann's Earth Band tried selling literal earth with each record, they wanted to do a special edition album which buying it would entitle you a piece of land from Scotland the size of their album cover square and thus make you a "laird" They then discovered that they couldn't advertise this due to the law being that you can't part sell land in that way. The law in the UK is that anyone can refer to themselves however they want as long as they aren't defrauding someone or committing some other such crime. So you can be "Barry" the big builder from Essex but tell your bank you want them to address you as Mrs Wendy Tiddlesworth, you don't legally have to change your name or chop your nob off, you're allowed to just ask and companies will generally comply. You can't however be Barry the builder and say you want to be addressed as Dr Barry on all your mail and then use this as "proof" for why people should buy a medicine you recommend. Lord is just another title like Mr or Dr or Admiral. So if you want to be addressed as "Lord Voldemort" then you can just ask your bank to do that and then ask for a new card and it'll be on there.

A lot of the fruit teas I’ve personally had have the exact opposite problem- I find them too often horrifically over saturated with fruit flavor. If I have peach tea, the peach flavor punches me in the face. It’s ok with peach, specifically, but I had a blueberry one once… blueberry tastes real shit when it’s over concentrated. Had a“Bubble gum tea” at some point that had little chunks of like, apple & hibiscus in which was pretty stellar though. You could taste fruitiness, but ALL the ingredients sort of blended together to create a cohesive flavor.

I used to use otterbox when I had Motorola phones, and was happy with them. But since I switched to a cheap Xiaomi phone and couldn't find the model I started using a cheap two part concussion case from eBay with the back part of another case super glued to it (but that was because I needed the magnet for my phone holder, I don't know if it's providing any needed protection) and a 9H glass screen protector. Less than £20 for all three parts, and the phone has survived some really bad drops/throws on stony ground.

I had one for almost two years and loved it to bits because it was so protective and actually gorgeous, but after a while I had the same thing as you with the designs (which I similarly made my peace with) but then the back started to come apart from the sides and the whole casing eventually fell apart. Also literally the same day I noticed it was beginning to deteriorate I dropped my phone and the back of my phone completely shattered and the case was largely hit or miss in protectiveness from that day on I was so disappointed because it was so awesome up until that point, and when I went to rebuy one the prices had increased astronomically and i couldn't find it in myself to see it as worth it 😩😩 oh yeah also at the time I had an iPhone 8 (which is probably why it cracked so easily) and they had discontinued cases for them by the time I went to redecided whether it was truly worth rebuying

Gotta say I've had my Casetify case on my phone now for like 6+ months and it barely looks like it's been scraped, it's held up super well. they're expensive but imo worth it.

We had a few boxes of Misfits delivered to our office a couple of years ago and they were so gross. We tried to get rid of them by giving them to people at work but no one liked them so we had to eventually bin them 😢

Primark have the best workout gear, lidl too! However, castify is definitely worth it! I have broken every screen on every upgrade, as little as 7 days after getting the phone. When i bought my first castify phone case (using a discount code from one of my fav youtubers), i did not break the screen of that phone over the 3yrs i had it. I just got a few upgrade a few months ago and wouldnt touch the phone until my castify case came. Ive never had their screen protectors though.

I had a Compostable Castify case: it literally composts within 6 month ie falls apart 😅 they did replace the case the first time but the same thing happened to the one they sent me and they couldn’t replace it a second time (and I couldn’t afford to replace it despite wanting to get an environmentally friendly option)

I love Gym Shark, most of my wardrobe is now them. Their jumpers/hoodies are soft and lovely too! Personally I haven’t found a bad product from them yet. I use Wild too, my only downfall is the way it breaks/crumbles when putting it on apart from that it’s lovely. Smells lasts for ages on me, even when doing school runs someone’s asked what I’m wearing and the only thing was the coconut & vanilla wild (my favourite scent). Everything is personally opinion and everyone has different taste 🥰 But I love watching your videos as you’re honest for what you think of the products 🥰

I have 1 gymshark top, I got it in a second hand shop. I was so so happy to find something of that quality and popularity. I could never spend so much money on active wear otherwise so it was my ultimate lucky day. It’s truly of great quality. It’s thick, breathable and nicely fitting. Can’t say a single bad world about it. It’s a long sleeve skintight shirt (?) btw with the small zipper in the neckline. Quality stuff, you just need the right size.

Grace I do spend extra money on heavy duty phone cases, but as a fellow accident prone person, they are a literal life saver for me! Like I love those cute, pretty phone cases that are thin and usually nicely stylised, but I know my phone is dead in the water if I buy one of them. So for my past, I believe 4 phones now, I have bought pretty much the exact same phone case for each phone! And while I would secretly love to change it up, they just work wonders for me and I am living by the motto of it ain't broke then don't fix it! And, seeing your case and knowing what you are like through these videos, I would definitely recommend you to not be shy around phone case price, investing in a good one saves a lot of money elsewhere haha

@@evercuriousmichelle so I used to get i-Blason Armorbox series for all my old phones, but then for some reason when I bought this one I was given an "ANTSHARE" one! But it's just as good! Like I still have 3-4 of my old phones and they all have the same case haha One thing I will say is the i-Blason ones come with an inbuilt screen protector I disliked, but you can remove that with determination. Also the ANTSHARE has one of those little phone stands/grips at the back attached to the phone, the i-Blason ones do not (least on the old ones I bought). But yeah I have literally dropped this phone down 15 concrete stairs, I have dropped it onto metal bars, and it is perfectly fine! Not a scratch or a dent to it! If you are also accident prone I 100% recommend them! They're not the prettiest but they are entirely practical!

I'm not a particularly sweaty person so maybe I can't test the limits too well, but I love the scents, have no issue with the application/feel, and I can actually get a whiff of it myself sometimes which I love Its expensive but most natural deodorants are.

I don't want to be *that person* but I'm obsessed with Free Soul. Ordered it because curiosity got the better of me (and costs only £24 to find out for myself). I didn't expect it to do anything because I already eat a pretty healthy/balanced diet with lots of veg and have had IBS for years and know my way around FODMAPs BUT!!! three weeks in and I'm so much less bloated, I'm more regular (*wink wink*) and I have better energy levels. My friend's been taking their protein powder as well and absolutely loves it!

I love Casetify, their designs are so cute and as someone who is very clumsy I can confirm that they are really durable, they’re pretty expensive but it’s worth it to me since I drop my phone so much, I’ve had one for 4 years and my phone is completely unscathed and the case itself is barely damaged at all. I recommend the impact case, it works great for me

Estrid is GREAT for the first use. But the lubricant runs out ridiculously fast like after the first use. You can’t use it after then, Becuase it’s too abrasive. Also, I’ve had to replace the handle twice Becuase it gets mouldy in the nooks and crannies. It also easily breakable if you drop it in the shower etc. and I kid you not, my hair grows back so fast after using Estrid, almost like it encouraged hair growth 😂. The suction holder also stops sticking to the wall after a while :/

I know a lot of people have already said that they love their wild deodorants and I too have stayed true to them for nearly 2 years now. I also got my boyfriend, my sister and my mom hooked on them. It gives proper instructions on the website on how to use and it also says there that your sweat glands need to get used to the natural deodorant. As to how to use properly: you have to rub it in a little bit so it doesn't stain your shirts and to make it work better. I've used mine at home, on holiday, at work...never been disappointed. I keep the minis in my backpacks and bags and even though they are like a paper, they've been holding up really well!! So, i don't know if all that makes it worth to have another proper go with them. But that is obviously up to you.

I absolutely love wild deodorant. It hasn't worked for you yet because it takes a week or so for the natural deodorant to work. Also try lots of different scents for example I didn't get on with the first scent I got (coconut and vanilla) but once I used orange and neroli or some of the limited edition scents my pits didn't smell bad at all. The only thing I don't like is that it isn't a anti perspirant so it doesn't stop sweat. But overall I highly recommend. You just need to give it a chance to work (a week or so).
