I'm scared for life to go climbing now. Not because of the abrasion, that's fine, but that overly dramatic music is nightmare material!

Thank you for a detailed video. Also.. The "Abraser wedge piece" you're using in the test machine should also utilize common stone that will be encountered and shapes of uneven jagged edges that will occur outdoors.

I think it would be pretty tough to use stone. It would wear and really tough to replicate on different machines. Testing is all about repeatability. Over time, in different locations and on different machines.

Rope's are rope's ! Use to 50 times , with need to checking! But not on toward 100 on and on ! 50 are the time to change!
