This will give you a brief overview of how to test the chlorine and ph levels in the pool. If the chlorine is low add more liquid chlorine (2-4 on the chlorine scale is ideal). The PH should be between 7.2 and 7.6. Use the color guidance to get an estimate of the levels. If the ph doesn’t fall in the correct range you will either need to acid to lower the ph level or “ph up”. (Basically baking soda) to raise the ph. Call me if the ph is out of wack and I will walk you through what to add to balance it out.
It is important for the ph to be in the correct range because it effects how the chlorine works and it also can become a skin and eye irritant.
