Love the dark horses- so many layers, creating an atmosphere that I have experienced before, somehow. Never tire of this song, or this album

This is a really nice tune! Tex is so damn versatile -- you never know what he's going to do next. I believe this was recorded when he was doing his unique tribute to Johnny Cash thing -- touring around dressing as the Man in Black & covering some of his tunes like "Ring of Fire." Tex is an amazingly talented guy with a wacky sense of humor and attitude that borders on crazy at times -- a cool combination that has worked out fine with his diverse musical body of work -- from kick ass rock to borderline country. He's indeed an Aussie legend in my mind.

Tex, You shame me. As a Christian if feel ashamed. I have not done what I have been asked to do by the Lord to ensure that His word is spread across the entire globe which marks the end. You wait for word to come? Well You can no more be fed the word than the word be fed to you. It is one thing to hear the word and not understand and it is entirely another thing to hear the word, understand and then, place it over you as new man on earth and heaven. Even Paul who was struck immediately by the vision and the voice of the lord was asked to then present himself in Damascus to another who would complete his understanding about where and what he should do next. ............How long did that take? .............How long have we got?...........The Lamps must be kept tendered until that time and not allowed to go out or we will be sent back to buy oil to fill our lamps and then light them so that the Angels who come for us can see us...............we must be seen like lamps in the dark when the darkness comes...........or ...we will be caught waiting until word comes..................

Great music. I really like this band. However, I feel that the guitar in his hands is a bit too showy. A real and adept guitarist never looks at his finger placement. They just know by feel. So, I admire the fact that he is strumming a few chords, but I think it (and they) would be better if he ditched the guitar and concentrated on his vocals, as he is a vocalist. Nothing wrong with that. Just some positive critique from a new listener.

Thank you for your opinion! I don't like how he handles the guitar. Whats wrong with that? I had nothing but good things to say other than that. Go back in your hole, troll.

@@gabes2095 except you have kept posting it on all Tex's videos where he plays guitar!? How do you think he composes songs? Since when was 'showy' as a guitar player a problem anyway?! Check out Peter Frampton and other dickheads like him to see 'showy' fffs

You've got some nerve to offer advice to a seasoned veteran of some of Australia's best ever music. I don't want to start a war so it's not personal. I liked to see Tex playing the guitar as it's not something I've seen much before. Congratulations to the whole band for making such a beautiful song.
