I need some thoughts from anyone also since the 25-06 was mentioned in this video. My local FFL obtained what basically appears to be a NIB or New-Old stock Sako Hunter 85. It is blemish free. It's chambered in 25-06. He's priced it at 1800.00 + tax. I've owned one Sako and it was excellent but I sold it. I've never owned, shot, loaded for 25-06. I rarely see ammo or brass but haven't really searched thoroughly either. I'm seriously considering this rifle but I've also read time and time again the Sako 90 "cured" all that was wrong with the 85. I'm not a Sako expert by any stretch. One of my thoughts is to buy it then rebarrel it to 280AI and just hold on to the factory barrel and if I choose to sell it, just sell it as a 280AI along with the factory barrel or put it back to factory configuration. HOWEVER, I also just found a NIB Sako 90 Hunter in Tennessee chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, which I am quite fond of as of this past deer season. Never ever considered the CM but got a nice deal on a couple Tikkas and I'm very pleased with both. This Sako 90 has very nice furniture and the muzzle is threaded. But, it's listed at $2000.00

If it was me I’d buy them both, sell the 85 and you got the 90 for free nearly, it’s a money making opportunity mate, cheers Yogi ✌️🤙

Great video, however I have a question regarding powder and primer storage. How do you keep your powder and primers from getting tainted from the moister/humidity in Alabama? Thanks for your time. Keep the great content comming. Regards, Paul

I store my powder and primers in my house…not exactly the safest thing to do but that’s how I manage it.
