I think this song was so underrated. I was 19 when this came out and it was always in the deck with the Kicker 12s banging. Oh, to reminice,

Wow! What a nostalgie... Great movie, great soundtrack and this one is probably the best song in it. I think the rap was kinda way of life, ghetto religion, even the code of honour back those days, not the show biz crap as it is now. Dear zup326, thank you for bringing back those memories! Greetings from Russia! Kind regards, Pavel Rezvushkin

true. And just to add to what you said. No man has ever lived off ONE album like Snoop has. And noone ever will. The new generation see him in Starsky and Hutch and Bruno and enjoy him. But they dont know what kind of a joke Snoop is now. Hard to even believe that he once did tracks like Tha Shiznit, Stranded on Death Row, the Chronic intro and this track right here. He sold out. Dre, DPG, Warren all know it. But they dont say it.

these songs are good but dont think they gangsters because gangsters never reveal themselves.they be stupid to do that, because gangsters make money and keep in the dark, only a few people know who they are and many people wanna be them.dpg are musicians, rappers, entertainers etc.Gangsters will never reveal themselves..

you are obviously someone who doesn't listen to whole albums. you probably just hear radio hits and base your opinion on that. snoop has come out with good albums since doggystyle, some were gangsta, some were experimental. i just laugh when you say his own homeboys and mentor think he sold out. what the hell do you know what they think? you wish you had dre, dpg, and warren in your corner.

You're still here? Stop scavenging mate. If Dre didn't think that Snoop didn't suck, he would have signed him to Aftermath. Given that Snoop doesn't sell a fifth of what he sold nearly two decades ago considering that then there was no radioplay for rap, videos were not shown on tv and it had hardly blown up like it did in the late 90s, sufficee it to say that he sucks. The industry agrees as well. Just watch his VH1 hip hop honors. 99% of the tracks are from Doggystyle and the Chronic.
