@Katlego M The first time I heard it was the performance at Radio City, and uMam Winnie was in the audience. It was beautiful how she honoured Mam Winnie, gave her flowers whilst she was still alive, more so considering how she'd been subjected to character assassination by STRATCOM.

I was blessed to see her live for the first time 4years ago. I walked in late at the concert she was on stage. I walked towards the stage tried to get as close to it as possible. Nothing compares to seeing Thandiswa live. From your lips to God's ears it will happen.😊

I honestly didn’t know other people out there grew up in uPoqo households, my family lived and breathed PAC…I sang songs like “khawu’phindu buye Sobukwe” before nursery rhymes.. Anyway, thank you for this comment with the slogans, it really took me back ❤️

@@naledikomsana3443 The story of the PAC is a really sad one in the context of where we find ourselves as a country today. The PAC was meant to be a natural successor to the ANC throne. Things started going south in the PAC after the demise of Clarence Makwetu.

@@ronm4385 The PAC was not a successor to the ANC, the PAC was the real deal, that is why the powers that be cut off the head early beginning with introducing the Sobukwe Clause (indefinite detention without trial). They knew they couldn't control or dictate to the PAC.

My synopsis was purely based on size of membership, for the longest time pre-democracy the PAC was considered to be second in numbers to the ANC and I am purely talking about the urban vote.

27:21 my goodness this is how I feel after I sing! I have had to consciously stay ‘with the people’ because it was a lot for people (or so I felt. My brain I suppose). But I have the exact experience. Both before and after, I need silence (when I used to have concerts anyways).
