Thank you for this reaction. You made my day! Please react to the live version as well. You won't regret it. There are reactors who have done both. Imagine a nearly note-perfect performance, but better and more dynamic... particularly the drums. It is Porcupine Tree's magnum opus. I discovered Porcupine Tree a few years ago while looking for Gavin Harrison (the drummer) content. Naturally, my recommendations tend to focus around his showcase pieces. My favorites are Way out of Here, live from Tilburg; Cheating the Polygraph, live from Tilburg; and The Start of Something Beautiful, live from Chicago. Arriving Somewhere but not Here, live from Chicago is also a required experience on a PT journey. It's not a Gavin Harrison showcase piece, but many consider this their best track. Two other musts are Trains and The Sound of Musak. I recommend the studio versions of those. Happy listening and welcome aboard!

The guitar solo was performed by Rush’s Alex Lifeson.

@@NihinduAngana yes, Steve Wilson wanted an Alex sounding solo on the track so he got him to record it for the recording.

Another Rush connection: Neil Peart wrote the forward to one of Gavin Harrison's books. He said (paraphrasing here) that if he could play the drums like Gavin Harrison plays them, he would.
