I remember watching a doc on the making of ‘late registration’. He talked about how he starts making songs like this, muffled, not making sense, etc. The creative process is different for everyone. He’s really genius producer and arranger. ‘Violent Crimes’ is beautiful and to hear this skeleton of the song just blew my mind.

Not only I get comfort from knowing even the likes of Ye spits gibberish on tracks to find flows like how I do, but him grasping for coherent sentences to find anything to hold onto in his most vulnerable state is so raw.
