So waiting for that trap to go off…DAMN IT! Looking great out there. Big brush fire coming this late fall.

Hey...Please Keep Up All The Hard Work and Great Videos Content. in reference to your Canadian Garbage Dumping Thugs (from the last video). i have a buddy Bob who i went to grammar school with... we fished and camped in Ontario for about 20 years...final trip was in 2013; but (not camping) we went to a fish camp in Field, Ontario when we were each 72yrs old. on our 20 trips during our youth we canoed in for a week+ and then out for a short-week. we always seemed to have a "cold day or two" and we would "clean-up our primitive, remote, sites". with-out exception...250lbs or more of refuse...and all Canadian Trash!?! in our early years of pheasant hunting here in Ohio (late 50's early 60"s) we would "discover" fresh trash; then each of our dads always had us sort through it. we would usually find several pieces with matching addresses on them; we would then ship a large portion of the trash to that address. of course, postage was a lot cheaper, back then!?! thanks!!! walt+mrs. (and {even though} the U S Post Office, has made untold Extra Billions due to eBay Shipping (a win-fall no one could have predicted prior to 1997!!!); the USPS (tax division) is still "crying poor mouth" and is on the verge of insolvency). "sounds a lot like what you are going through in Canada" (plenty of taxes and fees and licenses...but never enough"

HINT: when setting a mouse trap, I add a drop of 3in1 oil to the trigger where the little rod latches into place. I also use a piece of string to tie the bait into place on the trigger pan. Most mice don’t know how to untie a square knot. Yet. 😏 Courtesy of Half Vast Flying

I bet that you sleep really well at night after all that hard work and sort of fresh air (not ideal with all the wildfire smoke in the air). I'm really enjoying these cabin vids. Thanks for making them. :)

I always use to cut a piece of cardboard out about the size and thickness of 1/2 a matchbook cover, cut a hole in the middle of it to attach it over the trap's trigger, and then put a dollop of peanut butter on the cardboard. It caught them every time. No lucky mice.
