Someone might have beaten me to this, but as of November 2021, the UCS Millennium Falcon with 7,541 pieces has moved down to 4th place in terms of most amount of pieces. #3 is the Coliseum with 9,036 pieces and #2 is the Titanic with 9,090 pieces. Surprisingly the set sitting at #1 is cheaper than any other set in the top 10, and probably in the top 20 or so… this set is unique due to its super small round tile pieces, but the World Map has 11,695 pieces!! It’s the only set in the top 10 that I own, but every guest that walks in my place comments on how awesome it is. If anybody out there is hesitant on buying the World Map or any of the “art” sets such as the Iron Man, Elvis, or Mickey portraits… then just go buy one, you won’t regret it. I just bought the custom art set that comes with tons of round tile pieces in order to make various designs and/or a custom image. Ugh I love Lego

9:46 There is a glaring flaw here that I thought was worth mentioning. The largest lego set to date, is the Lego World Art Map with 11695 pieces. Another smaller nitpick, is that the use of Amazon pricing is incredibly inaccurate to the true market value. When it comes to discontinued Lego sets, Amazon tends to follow a trend of an unreasonable price markup, even compared to the actual second hand market. Bricklink is probably a closer and more streamlined alternative to get a general reference.

15:59 lol I used to have that when I was little. I took it apart and now it's a mass of legos. The funny thing is that once you take something like that apart, it no longer has value since well the right pieces can't actually be found. It would have been useful to put it on ebay for a ridiculous $7K, but you can't pay cheap for something that was cheap back then. Now it's probably worth more than $5-$6K.

"Why is it we've got to go back 31 years just to get some fricking colour on our train?" Because everything has to be dark and edgy. Anything that isn't the most depressing thing since Watership Down is seen as naiive at best and cringeworthy at worst. It's why I've stuck with Power Rangers as a series for so long; stupid beyond belief and oh so much wrong with it but very silly and fun. And even then, when it does go for pathos over stupid crap, it doesn't try and make this the next The Dark Knight.

Holy God! I had the King's Mountain Set!! I remember my grandmother getting it for me, and I loved it, used those pieces for years!! Eventually, they got grouped in with the rest, and those boxes were gifted to my boss's son. If I only knew then, what I know now..
