This is what it all meant to US. This is all of US. How we all felt, how we feel. I can move on in the sense I won't let it define the rest of my life, but I will never forgive, never forget. And I believe we must make a change, not be treated like this ever again. Never trust a gay story line and demand they tell us up front how they intend to treat us. Amazing job editing and thank you to all who shared their all too human reactions to a show that should have understood how they'd feel, how we feel.

Very true. I felt shocked and sad for Clarke. Then I cursed the writers just like when they killed Lincoln. Good thing this is just theater. And good theater it is to be able to evoke such emotion. I mean, no one really died but one could almost feel the bullet as well as the anguish. Then followed by amazement when they extracted the flame......well done, well done indeed.

I'm an older viewer, and I feel such grief over losing Clexa. They really fucked up. Eliza and Alycia are THE most talented actresses I've ever seen playing 2 women in love. The also shipped the couple themselves, and had fantastic chemistry. That kind of combination of powerful women characters played by talented actresses who are committed to the couple's story is a once in a lifetime opportunity!! They could have easily carried a series and become cultural icons, like Xena & Gabrielle, only with an onscreen sexual relationship. There was SO MUCH MORE of their story that could have been told. I would watch these 2 for YEARS and I feel real grief that their canon is closed. And fanfic in no substitute for me b/c I want to SEE Eliza and Alycia playing these characters.

+Donna Brooks It's really sad that they did have an opportunity to be a groundbreaking f/f couple. Lexa was the heartthrob of the show. Clexa was the main couple. How often do you see that? I can't recall it ever happening before on a show like this. Unfortunately they never intended to let Lexa live or have Clexa be long-term. Shame that showrunners still are so heteronormative with their storytelling.

There was something about this scene that moved in a way I´ve never been moved. I´ve watched countless TV series, movies and documentaries about horrible stuff. And now suddenly in my forties I get all emotional over (teenage) sci fi tv series. In some cases not so well played or written but excellent in between. The lovestory between Clarke and Lexa was so powerful and beautiful, maybe because they are gay/bisexual and therefore fresh in tv. I just know, all I know that I was devastated and felt betrayed. I felt genuine sorrow and grieve much to my surprise and perhaps horror. Was I going crazy? I see now after watching this video that I am not alone, perhaps the oldest but not alone. I feel better. I will definitely not watch serie 4 though until I hear that Lexa is somewhere around.

I know that was mostly him, but they has their part too, and didn´t refuse to use all the hyping to keep us envolved with the story and even when they knew about Lexa's death and that I'm better I've been reading and to judge all their tweets and interviews even the Lexa´s creator (Kim) they didn't and don´t care too much, but considering the fact that Jason is their boss, I'm going to hate Just Jason or Not, I mean he don't deserve it, is unworthy, nothing can make up for Lexa´s death, for the fact that she is gone, not even be able to blame someone, that can't bring her back (to life not CoL) and can't fix or heal my broken heart

Wow! This is a very powerful video. It shows the shock and frustration when you have a significant TV character that represents a lot to a group of people (LGTBQ and women, among others) in terms of empowerment and representation, and then have the her killed in a senseless manner immediately after having an intimate beautiful moment with the one person that she loved. That was cruel, and I truly believe the fans were manipulated to believe this pair was going to be cannon.

I’m new to this show, I didn’t even know this was going to happen. I have never been the type to care much about a relationship on a tv show to a huge extent. But the Clarke and lexa was different and the emotion from it, the acting was incredible, just the way Alicia can act without even saying anything, her eyes, the tears , it’s enthralling. This death was fucked up and it tore me apart and pissed me off and I’m straight so my point is if it pisses me off that much I can’t imagine the emotions of someone who connected to it the way I did and also in the lgbt way as well. That just doubles their pain. Just how tore up it had to make them in that sense to be pulled in then ripped away immediately is so fucked up.

Hi Everyone, When I watched this gun shot scene, I pretty much reacted like someone in this clip above: "Are you kidding me?!' That was precisely what I yelled at myself for I was watching it alone. Yet, one ponders why such a foundational character is killed off. I don't think the writer quite realizes that Lexa is a foundational character. It is like killing off the Flash in a Flash movie, or taking Oprah away from an Oprah Winfrey show. She is so central to the story that I fear the series may never have the same impact as it did with her alive. A lot of people irrespective of gender or sexual preference were always looking forward to any scene with "Clark" and "Lexa" because these two were in themselves a different story line within the main story stream; just like "Lincoln" and "Octavia" are. How can this killing be? Unless of course, somewhere...somehow or sometime into the future of the series, a rabbit will be pulled out of the hat and Lexa will live again. This theory of mine comes from the fact that a piece of tech was removed from the base of her brain. However, if this theory of mine is wrong, then we should probably prepare for the possible killing off of "Lincoln" and/or "Octavia". This is saddeningly heart breaking.

The screenwriter tried to blame Alycia aka Lexa because she is on fear the walking dead but than makes many other excuses for her death trying to save himself. One thing that I have noticed is bisexual characters like clarke always end up with the opposite sex in the end. The gay storyline was just for fun and interesting story but no she'll end up with Bellamy like many of his fans want. I like Bellamy but I dont care for him and Clarke to be together in that way. I grow weary of bisexual characters because of this, should I really watch and root for these two girls? So far nope. I see shows with storylines featuring a same sex couple especially involving the main character I don't bother. You realize before clexa I've never watched a same sex relationship and rooted so hard for them just for that to happen? I'm tired of cliche writings where the guy and girl can't just be friends and leaders without needing a love story. Stories like that become a big bore, it brings back my opinion guys and girls can't be friends with out romance feelings coming up.
