Tom's got it right. An upgraded Runner hardtop with deluxe interior is all a guy needs to get in the groove. Working that 383, 4speed will definitely take you back where we all came from. Smooth Move Tom.

My first car in 1972 was a 1970 road runner. Paid $1200 (US) for it. Same color. Same options - none. 😉 Except, mine did have a white vinyl top. Max, you thought searching a year for the Nova was a long time. I've been searching for a replacement for my road runner since the internet became common. The closer I get to finding one the farther away they get in terms of affordability. 🙁

No kidding Johnny you have had some awesome cars my friend! 70 road runner is mint such a nice car and this color is awesome on my mind. Well I can tell you think much. If you really want one it's out there. I search full-time for 13 months. I made a job of it I was spending 4-5 hours a day every single day on this. The cars are out there you just need the right person to hear about your dream and earn their respect. And based on your history with cars and general personality I doubt it would he very hard for you. Keep looking for the car I know it's our there. I guarantee you post a short story and picture of your old car (if you have one) on a Facebook group and it'll appear. Good luck I'll keep my eyes open as well.

Just subbed to you and love the cars and videos Thank you. I must say the old adage "There's no replacement for displacement" really is an out dated mindset. Forced induction is THE answer LOL. No Offense meant I love me a good race N/A engine but my twin turbo 3 liter straight six is a MONSTER! LOL. Thank you again.

Thanks doe the support. And 100% agreed with your forced induction is the way to go. I have a inline 5 2.2 turbo audi Quattro and that thing can be insanely fast with little effort so you are right a out the straight 6. Twin turbo 3 litre sounds fun. Thabks for commenting and sticking around!

Yes it's a dated term or phrase, I've always been under the impression, I would hear it said by a distinct group of Car Folks, who never really got into watching Racing, that wasn't Drag related etc.. Ironic because NHRA is 500ci Max and Nascar is I believe 355ci... Meanwhile, F1, Rally, Touring Car, Le Mans, IMSA, Can-Am, .... Forced induction has proven it's self more reliable than early efforts, search (ZAK SPEED) Capri/Mustang,, Seriously what's that new-ish 3! Cylinder Toyota Corolla Hatchback putting down.. 100bhp per cylinder!!.. Come on!... That's Awesome... I also see, Electric (Induction Systems) or assisted, to limit or even eliminate Lag..

I had a 69 Road Runner like that but it was black. It had mag wheels with oversized tires on the back and I had to use air shocks to keep them from rubbing.

Yeah man. If you like this car you will like what comes out later down the line. Just about to film with a 68 runner with a 426 Hemi and a 70 with a 572 Hemi! You'd probably like the dodge dart Vidoo on this channel too that's a good one too!

Thank you for this great video. It's good to see someone who owns and enjoys a car for what it is and not what it's worth. I happen to have a 69 Satellite with the 318, just like he mentioned he had in his youth. It's certainly a fun car as it is even though there's no substitute for cubic inches!

Thanks for sharing great cars indeed man. Thats right sometimes you don't need to change everything about them but rather enjoy them for that they're designed for. I recently did a interview on the top Mopar builder in ottawa and he went into detail why the stock plymouth and dodges were so great back in the day... I get it now. Awesome cars thanks for your comment hope you stick around for the other eps (last episode was a 70 dart)

@@SubdivisionAuto Mine wasn't too bad either, older restoration though. It can be seen, along with a 64 Chevelle SS and a 79 Camaro Z28, in a video called 'The Deal' made by a friend a long time ago, before moving to Canada. Use the following keywords to find it: the deal christophe mancamaroz28
