@vlogswsasha. Not to be a d*ck but that's simply not true. A lot of bands and artists at that time were very innovative and experimental. Sure, the Beatles are very well known for their innovations, but that's also mainly because they were the most popular band back then. Still that doesn't take away from the ingenuity and influence other artists had on music. From the top of my head: Phil Spector, the Zombies, the Kinks, the Beach Boys, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan all did remarkable stuff which influenced music forever. If you like music history it's definitely worth looking into.

I work in dementia care, and I found a great radio station called, "Boomer Tunes" and my clients LOVE it lolol They play all of these old classics and I can see the recognition in my client's eyes when they hear a song from their past. I love how music has the power to take them back to happy memories no matter how advanced their Alzheimer's or dementia is.

My Nan had Alzheimer’s it was heartbreaking she thought I was my Grandad as I look just like him. She didn’t know what day or what year it was, but she used to sing songs that were popular in ww2 word for word.

I was born in 1960. I love how these songs had a really long lasting play time. Some were still relevant for years. Not like today's music where effective airtime is so short. I remember all these songs a decade later just as popular as when they were originally released. ☺️🫶
