@TheStraightPipes Useful information about speed limits: Tesla doesn't detect speed limits from signs at all, sadly. Older Teslas with Mobileye cameras do it. Since Tesla decided to use their own technology, their cars can't read speed limit from signs, as whole idea is patented by Mobileye (yeah, that's dumb). Tesla takes speed limits from map database, which can be outdated.

You are driving a grey Model X with black 22" wheels, and that's the way it appears in the infotainment system. That is a very nice little detail, that doesn't cost a lot, that every car manufacturer knows how to do (since they all have online configurator), so why don't they all do that !?? Why is it that if I buy a blue BMW with black wheels, it will still show me the same, generic, grey BMW with regular wheels in the infotainment system ?? It seems like such a simple upgrade, Tesla did it and I wish everyone would do it
@theotimenk
4 жыл бұрын
@Shamur Stewart Yes I completely agree. When I say "infotainment system" I actually meant "any digital representation of the car on any screen". I know it's a very small and unsignificant to many detail but still... it seems so simple to solve and it would be so satisfying

Drove the model 3 with “full autonomy” option. I think it was keeping very very well in middle lane BUT; it corrects a lot. The human smoothness seems to be missing still. Kudos to tesla for figuring out faster lane and switching during cruise control with destination entered BUT again; i thought it changed lanes way too many times. I drove back on same road an hour later with another car (a vw cc) and it was a much much calmer experience. The autonomous cruise control asks way too many questions and keeps saying.. “apply slight pressure to change lanes” “Apply slight pressure” while being in same lane also. I guess keeping hands on wheel “lose” would help. My opinion is just one person’s opinion but i think we should have a word of warning with this specific system. People expect way too much. Plus some of the menus and the buttons and overall screen layout was very crowded. (Looks best when off 😂 ) Button sizes were not very consistent; youtube/netflix was quite laggy. Summon was so gangster feature. We walked out of chipotle with takeout and summoned our car around the store. That was wow 😳
