Yes, and Wang is pronounced Wong, Fang is pronounced Fong, etc. Replace the "a" in "ang" with "o" and you will pronounce it correctly. Pinyin, the main romanization of Mandarin, has unusual pronunciation rules like "Q" being pronounced as "Chin". Also how Zhou is closer to Joe, instead of a word that rhymes with "wow".
@Stray396

to be fair to Andy, he isn't trying to pronounce qinwen, he's saying queen-wen. queen-wen is her nickname, which is a name that qinwen herself has accepted and adopted, at least for the western audience.

To all those simpletons incapable of doing basic research and wrongly opining that Sinner got off due to his ranking try some facts for a change. It should be noted that Marco Bortolotti faced a similar controversy at the tail end of 2023. Despite being a lower-ranked player (376) his case was resolved within three months, with no suspension. The player's case wasn't made public until a conclusion was reached, just like Sinner's.

U didn't even mention Noskova, went w/ Putintseva immediately in their R1 matchup. Noskova is killing it in Monterrey, Mexico as we speak, beat Svitolina in QF, just played an incredible SF against Navarro last night and is now in the final facing Lulu Sun, she's finding form at the right time. Sabs won't have an easy time w/ Sun either, she's a lefty counter puncher like Fernandez except w/ way more power, same refusing to go away type that annoys the heck out of Sabs.

The winner of Sinner/Alcaraz wins the tournament. Think of it, Novak soundly defeated in Australia, exits for injury at the French and not even a match at Wimbledon. The only thing that stops Sinner to the final is not mental. There's no player with a stronger mind on tour, Novak included. If he plays too many 5-setters that will be a factor.
