Love these reviews boys! I do over 90% of my riding in Icy Vermont and planned on going Bank Country or Gremlin. Whatcha guys think if you were in the Northeast?

I think the Gremlin is a more well rounded deck.

Grabbing one new board this year, definitely a charger looking to dig trenches but have some fun hitting side hits as well. On the fence between banked country, the algorhythm, gremlin, or mega merc. Thoughts on a daily driver from these?

Hi 🙌🏻 Would you choose this or the bsod as your only board ? For just doing groomers and sometimes powder. Keep going 🇨🇭

First of all, thank you for your great content! What are your thoughts between this and the new lib tech rocket? The banked country sounds right up my alley, slashing groomers and dipping into the trees hunting for powder stashes/riding pow when it’s available. My worries with this board are that I’m used to cambered boards and have never had a Mervin board with magnetraction. The new rocket is camber and no magnetraction but my worries with that would be the stiffness and if it’s as damp. I’m in my “rad dad” stage at almost 42 and while I still like to charge hard sometimes, my knees aren’t what they used to be and I also like to be able to ride lazy. Thanks in advance for your thoughts. If you have a better board suggestion I’m open to that too. Maybe the ride moderator?

I am buying one new board this season. It is between the Banked Country 159 and the Stranda Shorty 164. The board is for carving groomers and open faces powder. I guess those boards are different, but I will use the one I choose in the same conditions.

Avran. Any comments on the Shorty vs. Banked Conutry?
@AngrySnowboarder

I would go with the Stranda personally. It's more effortless with how it carves on a groomer and isn't more back foot dominate like the BC is. While they changed the BC it still favors more weight back.

Hey Avran, i have a question about board size. Im a 6’1, 160lbs, size 9 rider. Thinking of switching over to a Capita indoor survival this season. Im looking at doing all mountain with some freestyle and was wondering if you think a 154 board would be fine or if i should get a 156?
