The hardest thing for me is knowing when to stop, or at least actually doing it.

Yeah identify that move and make a point to block after it. I’d just do one or two moves at a time.

With ranked usually I’d stick to 10 sets a night if I’m doing well, and up to 15 if I’m losing. Can’t tell you how many times when taking a 2 day break it would make me rusty. I would start off losing 3-5 sets in a row and it would frustrate me. Then I’d get into a rhythm eventually. But yeah once I reached purple I just play a bit of quick match first then rank if I’m feeling it. So I can vouch for your advice, definitely helps.

Limiting the sets, and stop when the auto pilot takes control is definitely a great advice👊 Glad you enjoyed!!!!

@@TheGianGame yeah those consecutive nights when I go 9-1 and 8-2 then 3 days later I’m 4-11, I’m like ahhh. Regardless I’m glad of the progress I’ve made.

That's every session I play on weekends. Losing my first 5 -10 games then going on a win steak later about the the same amount. Then it evens out in win lose ratio. Rinse and repeat next weekend.

This is good insight to put it all together heading into my sessions now cuz i would do step 1 then stop, and then wonder why i would have a tough time vs doing all 3 at once. Honestly it just about incorporating all three elements on a habitual basis that's the toughest part I'm working to help me climb out of purple too.

I dont know if it's just me or not , but I usually lose the first match as its my soaking up information match seeing how aggressive the opponent will , figuring out their patterns and getting a feel for the play style are they playing with me or just flowcharting , I usually play more defensive , if I lose the first match I then turn it around and win the next 2 most of the time
@TheGianGame

That makes you a more defensive player probably

Just keep plugging 😂 you'll get there eventually 😂 .... It seems like this is most common strategy when I play ranks. At least 3 on 10 battles are pluggers. F*** that.

My best advice is just dont play for long. Make short sessions - I play for like half hour to max one hour. I legit feel tired after that, well my mind feels I cant play that way. Make a half hour break go outside do some manual work and then go back kicking on ranked.

Just watched it in slow motion, is probably because of range and he was still during step animation. But imo you could see it as a case of Tekken being Tekken!
