Thanks for your channel!! I will subscribe. We moved here to El Paso from New York City in 2017. I love it here and so did my husband before he passed away on May 5, 2022. When we first arrived in El Paso, we lived out in the far east (right off of Rich Beem). It's a beautiful area. But, we moved to the west side in 2020 to be close to my husband's job at Providence Hospital. Although my husband is gone, I will probably remain in El Paso for the rest of my life. Peace.

My family was in El Paso on Sept 4 and 5th, I found El Paso to be a very clean city. I explored a lot of El Paso on the 5th, I was impressed, my wife and daughter who are both extremely picky were impressed! My wife and daughter were so impressed they have already made arrangements to transfer there! One of the things he talks about is service, John and Oscar provide 5 star service! Labor day weekend was a very busy time for them, they had a lot of clients still Oscar found time to give us a tour and John who had a stacked schedule met us at The Rib-hut{ excellent food If I may say} he spent quite some time with us. They make you feel extremely comfortable like you've known them all your life, they are more than real estate agents they really care. The industry should follow their example of customer service

Im not saying tip a crazy amount just enough a decent amount (usually $10 i tip) and i noticed anytime i ever went back i was always treated very well and had very fast service, im not saying that was the only reason because im sure poeple just down right disrespectful to some of these waiters/workers. There is little or no cultural diversity in El Paso and cultural amenities and arts are all about the hispanic experience. This should come as no surprise given the overwhelming hispanic demographic here and, in fairness, it is probably unreasonable to expect it to be otherwise. If you are hispanic and attached to your culture, you'll love it. If not and, like myself, you have no interest in immersing yourself in the culture you will struggle. I'm not a fan of hot weather which means I find the summers to be extremely long and oppressive. The novelty of the desert landscape will wear off quite quickly. I'd rather be almost anywhere else, but it is not possible for family reasons for at least the next four years. Sixteen years of desert penance served, four more to go. If you don't need to commute to Fort Bliss every day for work and can afford to do so, live on the West side in the Upper Valley area.

As someone who’s worked in the retail and customer service industry for 15+ years I can guarantee, if someone is rude to you it’s because you were probably rude first and didn’t realize it. Or were actually being a demanding brat lol

Service: they are racist. I am from there and tried to move back in 2013. Out of almost 80 applications not one interview. My application did not make it past the front desk.

Or perhaps it could be your attitude, educational background or something else? Also employers now look at social media so if you post a bunch of dumb sh*t you are probably not going to get hired. You should look at yourself first before blaming everybody else.

L L, first of all you have know knowledge of me. Therefore your assumption of me are totally wrong. I don’t have to explain myself to you or anyone else. But I did not have any social media accounts up until about 1 year ago. So that’s out!!! Second of all that is my home town an before I moved away I had applied for a job, I was considered bilingual. There was only one white person working there. She personally called me and said I am trying hard to get you on. Well low and behold they hired someone who was not bilingual and did not pass any of the testing as I did!!! But since she came across the border they could hire here for cheaper than what they would pay me. So yeah I’m pulling the racist card big time. Same thing happened in 2013! Do before you go placing judgment on anyone, get your facts straight. Go look in the mirror and judge that what you see looking back at you! I’m done with you! .

I'm from El Paso but I've been living in Salt Lake City for 20+ years. My wife is also from El Paso and moved to Salt Lake with me a few years ago. After living in SLC a few years she visited her parents in El Paso and was surprised by how mean/rude El Pasoans are compared to peeps in Salt Lake City. I'm talking about the service industry btw.

People never keep their word or promises in El Paso. It's an extremely serious issue. You can waste your life away waiting for someone to do what they say they are going to do. Absolutely terrible For that reason alone forget this place. Plus the houses are mostly ugly, lawns unkempt, bars in windows... Architecture is the worst Poverty

El Paso is the land of manana. I don't speak Spanish so I don't know if spelled that right. Over all I love El Paso. I moved here 36 years ago and never left. I traveled through out all of the lower 48 and I have found that all the issues that people complain about in El Paso is nothing compared to what I have seen in other big and I am a transplant.
