I was in Cambodia for the first time recently, and when I left the airport, I booked a Bolt TukTuk which happened to be with this guy Eng who offered to be my driver around Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat is huge so I didn't fancy walking, and Eng's price seemed very cheap to me.
I have read about TukTuk drivers changing the price later on, and leaving you stuck, unable to get back to your hotel, so beware of this. However, Eng was obviously a genuine guy, and he remained that way throughout my time in Siem Reap as I called him a few more times for TukTuk rides. He never ripped me off, he never was anything but friendly, and he also organised a taxi to take me to Phnom Penh (I wanted to take a private taxi as it was cheaper than a flight.) To get Eng's info, just follow and DM me on Instagram: / tanyakudryashka
I would recommend getting in touch with Eng if you're in Siem Reap, he's a great guy, and actually has good knowledge about Angkor Wat, rather than just being a driver.
Angkor Wat could be one of the 7 world wonder's in my opinion, but it's not, unfortunately. It's an awesome place to visit, and the main reason I visited Cambodia. Stayed in Siem Reap for 1 week and Phnom Penh for 2 weeks. I'm a digital nomad and need fast internet, so I chose to spend longer in the capital, assuming the internet would be faster there. It turns out the internet is fast in both cities - very cool.
In the video you see me visit 3 temples, one called Bayan Temple, which you can walk around like a labyrinth, the second was one featured in the Tomb Raider movie with Angelina Jolie, where the trees have overtaken the buildings and finally Angkor Wat, the main temple. Such a cool place.
