I was familiar with Andy when he was a kid. His dad was an officer on the submarine base I was at. Andy was early teens and was a squirrel. He ran with the teen girls and caused all kinds of problems, security hated him. Last time I saw him was when our base opened a bowling alley and an admiral came to the opening. Mr. and Mrs Dick, his brother, and Andy were part of the receiving line and Andy was dancing around like a marionette. I felt bad for his dad, who was a good man, because the behavior of kids reflects heavily in the office and Andy either could not, or would not, behave for a few minutes.

For some reason l've always liked Andy Dick. I've always thought if he had gotten his demons under control, he could have been a huge comedic actor. He's naturally funny. But a lot of behavior is inappropriate and some downright diabolical. I doubt he will ever sober up. It's unfortunate.

My memory is foggy, but I seem to remember Andy Dick being rude to Marie Osmond on some talk show or other, and Donny threatening to hit him. I thought it was on their 1998-2000 talk show, but I cannot find anything to substantiate it.

@@Richard-d1y the lyrics of that song always made think of exactly what Andy Dick was doing to these people in this video. I watched you change Into a fly I looked away You were on fire I watched a change in you It's like you never had wings Now, you feel so alive I've watched you change I took you home Set you on the glass I pulled off your wings Then I laughed I watched a change in you It's like you never had wings Now, you feel so alive I've watched you change It's like you never had wings

Yep, and it goes much deeper than that. Offering sacrifices to the “club” puts you on a pedestal. If you stop doing their bidding, you end up the same. That town is truly evil

the guy is homeless and dying of addiction, its really sad. He;s unwell, shunning an unwell person and laughing at them whilst theyre dying is cruel. People do mad and terrible things in addiction, but they can recover. people can recover.

Thanks for this OP! I want to mention an MTV Cribs (S7E3) of his place I saw once, that shows a truly dark, ominous, and bizarre side, even for Andy Dick. The episode showed his shabby and sordid residence somewhere in Los Angeles. At one point the camera lingers in a hallway, where Andy Dick had actually hung paintings of Jesus Christ on one wall and Satan on the opposite wall. Dick admitted he hung the paintings that way on purpose...by way of explanation he said something about how he just liked the idea of Christ and Satan being "perpetually engaged in close spiritual warfare for the souls of all mankind" or words to that effect...what could go wrong?

Remember one time he posted on Twitter basically offering a random person to take him and his girlfriend out to dinner, the condition was that you could sit with them and eat but couldn't talk to them, I can't remember if someone actually took him up on it.

My Andy Dick story sucks- it was like 2am in Hollywood, I was going to an afterhours party and had parked and was walking to the party. Andy was walking the other way on the sidewalk, and very inebriated, slurred out "I know you" and loosely pointed at me. He didn't actually know me, and we both kept walking the other direction.
