I use sandy all over and candlelit for the lighter areas. What would you recommend for pop highlight? Linen?
@TheContouredChemist
Жыл бұрын
At Sandy you most likely would need Aura or White Peach, usually Aura. Linen will usually pull more textured on a skin tone as dark as Sandy, especially if you have mature skin at all.

I use candlelit for color correcting redness and white peach all over. Would you recommend linen or moonlit for brightening highlight?

Hey Cheyenne! I think you need a darker/warmer color corrector firstly! I'm happy to rematch you form.jotform.com/90865284046160

Hi, I really enjoy your videos. Can you show what your makeup looks like after a full day? I've seen your amusement park video, do you have another? I use the pat pat pat technique you use with the 30 sec hac and some days it's light when I get home and some days looks nice. Still learning how much product to use without feeling greasy along my nose. Thanks, Kelli

I don't have another one, but I can definitely work on that! Do you have oily skin on your nose? And have you tried powdering that area? Some people need a mattifying primer just where they get oily to help keep oily at bay throughout the day. Then I definitely recommend pressing a setting powder (a loose powder is even better) anywhere you get oily, so it will absorb oil as its produced.

@@TheContouredChemist Thank you for replying so quickly! I never noticed oily skin until using this product, so its prob bc its a cream. I use very little product under my eyes, if any, and try to use little around my nose. I powder with Airspun but I think maybe I need a diff kind. I want to try the pressing powder from Maskcara. I rotate between the Stay spray and a primer by PUR and I moisturize the night before. Looking forward to your new videos.

@@coleironfist5490 how long have you been wearing Maskcara? If its been less than a month your skin might not have adjusted yet to the extra moisture of the creams. Our Stay spray is good but its definitely better for a dewy finish and normal/dry skin. For oily skinned clients I recommend Urban Decay De-slick. But it won't be long until Maskcara's Halo is released which will be perfect for you to try! I can't wait to try it.....

@@TheContouredChemist I started using it in July when it was super hot and I didn't have the correct color. I became very tan so my artist said to go up a color but I don't think it matched so didn't use it as much until the weather started to cool down. It definitely took a bit to get used to the feeling of creams and now I really like them. Okay, I'll look into the Urban decay de-slick. Thank you so much for your guidance.

I’ve seen in several videos, if your pores are accentuated, your highlight color is too light...how do I brighten my under eyes without accentuating my pores? My pores are largest on the sides of my nose, on the checks, in the pie section. I hope that makes sense. You recently color matched me, and I placed my order today!!!

Michelle Colon I saw that girl! I think you got Amber to brighten and I don’t think that is too light for your skin tone to cause those issues. Just always make sure to put your darker shade on first anywhere you plan on brightening then press your accent shade over it. If you put the lighter shade directly on your skin then yes it will not look good- you’ll see it emphasizing any texture you might have. But layering allows you to brighten anywhere you want. As long as your accent shade is the right shade for you and not completely out of your skin tone range. I hope that makes sense!

Hey Sarah!! You did my color match. I use Amber & White peach. What would be my accent brightener? Thanks!!!
@TheContouredChemist

Hey Michelle! I can't remember, do you use White Peach all over where you applied Amber or do you just use it in those key areas. If you don't apply it everywhere then that would be your accent brightener. If you do apply it all over to tone down the warm of Amber then you might want to try a brighter shade, like Linen, for that extra pop and you can just apply it to the center of the face.

What would you recommend as an accent brightener for somebody who uses June as their main highlight?

Christina Dalgleish either Aura or White Peach would be subtle, Linen if you want more of a pop 👍🏻

What would you suggest for someone who uses Mango under the eyes and Aura for the main foundation, I don't feel like I get that "pop" Thank you!!!
@TheContouredChemist

Just a bit of Linen in the inner corners will give you that pop! But a little goes a long way with Linen so I recommend using it over your normal Aura brightener so it doesn't emphasize any texture!
