Qimir keeping close tabs on his future apprentice perhaps? Loved the entrance. The slow controlled descent, a slight glide at the end. Awesome.

After Mae burns the book, while Osha is calling for help you can hear Mae scream and then the lantern shatter, either from being dropped or thrown. That is what caused the larger fire at the door. That suggests someone else was out side the room and either startled Mae or attacked her. It's truly sad how few people understand how fire can exist in environments other than Earth's atmosphere. How do they think welding underwater works, or how we got to the Moon and back? Anakin's origin has always been shrouded in mystery. Aniseya creating the twins actually lends creedance to Anakin's possible parthenogenesistic creation. The hate is mostly based on the fact bigots can't stand when entertainment dares to represent someone other than them. They love to play the victim of discrimination even though they are represented 99% of the time and always have been. Haters in general always come up with lame criticisms, usually proving they don't know the franchise or choose to ignore facts to support their hate. Since 1977 it's been established that the Force exists in all living things, so the notion that only Jedi can wield it is absurd. If a religious group includes playing harmonicas as part of their worship, that doesn't mean other people can't play the harmonica.

Il probably regret typing this later but I am not a biggot. I just dont think the show is very good. Production value on screen, understanding of the universe, kinda bad acting and what I would say is sub par writing compared to other shows that I do enjoy. HOTD, Fallout, Boyz.. etc. I feel like calling anyone who does not like this a biggot is quite awful IMO. To make such a generalisation about a group of people seems... Well i will stop there. Its so sad to read comments like yours from my position.

@@ClaireMcHardy Interesting that you automatically took my comment personally, and misrepresented it as a generalization accusing everyone who doesn't like the show of being a bigot when that's clearly not what I said. That being said, I don't find your criticisms and those of the majority particularly valid and reasoned. They come off as CinemaSins type contrivances serving as proxies for ulterior motives. From what I've seen so far the show is not on the same level as Andor, but is still well produced and written, serving the mystery quite well. It might or might not stick the landing, but it's impossible to judge that until the arc is complete.

@@RealBLAlley From what I have experienced on the platform so far its usually the case that anyone who dislikes something must have a grand motive instead of just not liking it. But if your not bundling me in with bigots for not liking a Star Wars show them im happy :)

@@ClaireMcHardy People who simply dislike a show or movie due to poor writing or production don't make up hundreds or thousands of fake accounts just to flood the review sites to bring down the score, and then point to the low score as validation for their hate.

The person in the dark clothing isn’t the clumsy guy, he’s not clumsy because he’s been trained by the person in the black outfit and she’s good because her people are warriors, we watched how the witches use the force as a means of defense by repelling the force pushed at them, back on the person pushing it towards them, imagine how much force power is coming off a bunch of Jedi, the power of one, the power of two, etc. We never saw the second mother’s body, everyone but her’s and we don’t know the first mother is dead because Sol didn’t check the body, could be either of them but clumsy guy is an obvious misdirect, he’s working with the person in black though

From what I'm aware, J.J. Abrams did NOT have a plan for the sequel trilogy. He didn't even have a plan for where all the threads he put in his film would go. He might have had some ideas, but he didn't have anything specific. As for Rian, I know you guys don't like what he did with The Last Jedi, and specifically with Luke, but personally, I think he did great. I think Luke is consistent with his original trilogy character. But even if I didn't think that, there's not much that could be done given the setup for it. Throughout The Force Awakens, it's abundantly clear that Luke deliberately went into hiding. I'm not really sure how the pieces of the map were made considering he was trying to hide, but even if he deliberately left those pieces for people to find, he still deliberately went into hiding. Rian had to answer why, and there's not many good or understandable reasons why Luke would do such a thing. So given the context, if Rian did any damage to Luke's character, it's because he couldn't do anything else with the character.

If it takes 8 episodes before the story becomes interesting, you wrote a bad story. People are always complaining about these shows because they aren't enjoying them. It isn't up to the fans to just swallow what is thrown at them because it has the Star Wars name on it.

Let me start by saying that I am not a " hater ". I have enjoyed your reaction videos wether I agree with points or not. Like you I also disliked Ryan Johnsons take. Boba Fett was quite awful. Asoka was meh. I wish I could get as much out of this show as you lads but I just think its tragic. Hopefully this is the part in the line graph that is right at the bottom before it starts climbing back up again. The sudden turn to wanting to be good after already murdering 2 Jedi masters had me wanting to turn it off, to then find out the Wookie died naked in the chair off camera... Star Wars fans deserve much better than this. Fallout recently and House of the Dragon, the Boys.. its all so far above this in quality IMO. I am just hoping Andor Season 2 continues the be as incredible as season 1. Andor was well written, casted, acted, with a strong vision and high production value with a strong understanding of the universe and the lore. Wish we could get that same attitude for all the shows.

Star Wars fans like all fans deserve absolutely nothing. We are not owed a single thing. In any industry companies produce products and we consume those we feel provide a benefit. They don't owe us Star Wars, toasters, or pickup trucks. It's up to us to decide what to consume and what not to consume from what is available. The fact you don't like a story element doesn't make it bad, especially when you're not privy to the complete context. Entertainment fails when it panders to the audience. The Acolyte is a mystery, and so far it's living up to that structure.

@@RealBLAlley Yup. Art/entertainment is not like a product you can send back to manufacturers if there's something wrong. It's there for you to like or not. Audience has _no_ say in what is created, just whether they watch/listen/consume.

@@RealBLAlley Thats a nice idea but I do watch a show as the sum of its parts. I simply picked 2 moments that stood out over the rest. I dont know what to tell you I just dont think its very good in my opinion comparatively and in how it makes me feel while watching. I am not looking to nit pick this thing I just think in General its a low effort. As far as what Star Wars fans deserve... ok we deserve nothing. If its just about getting our clicks, views and monthly subscriptions then I dont think this is worth it at all. The only Mystery here is how you can take that budget and end up with this IMO. Lets agree to disagree. Maybe I have a higher bar.

@@RealBLAlley Regarding not being privy to the entire context. I understand what the concept of a mystery is. I dont think you should need to have an entire season infront of you to enjoy or dislike the mystery they are presenting episodically. Each episode should carry you to the next and entertain with the want to find out more. If i need to have the whole season infront of me and skip to the end for something to be good then they did something wrong.
