The more they nail the lore down, the smaller the universe gets. I know they already had the kyber crystal thing, but still.)

People were so quick to get on that actor for his Anakin Skywalker Death Star flub that the response tended to miss the larger fail: that someone centrally involved in the production of this show felt that there was a moral quandary involved with the killing of the personnel of a military-only instillation that itself was specifically designed to be a Weapon Of Mass Destruction - one that had in short order had already been used to wipe out the billions-large civilian population of a pacifist planet. I don't want to hear ethical arguments from the sorts of people who would promote such nonsense, nor do I want them at the storytelling controls of IP they did not themselves create. Ye gods!

This needs to be focused talked about and spread around. Didn’t Sol have an unexplained obsession over Osa to make her his padawan out of no where for no reason. Ever since he first saw her. Right ok and didn’t the greenbean lady say at the end them memories were from when the twins were 8 years old. Didn’t Sol saw he loved Osa is the reason he didn’t tell the Jedi counsel while she was force chocking him. So a grown man has an unexplained love obsession over a 8 year old made and produced for 180 million by Disney. This steams from a woman who was harvy Weinstein assistant who was arrested and convicted for these following activities. Cancel this sick woman lesyle headland. Cancel Disney.

I think the most memorable moment is that they truly thought this was a morally grey story. NO, Disney, NO! It wasn't a morally grey tale, even though you tried your "best" at making the Jedi act out of character what you showed on screen still validates what they did to the witches, they were 100% in the right and were just defending themselves from crazy Dark Side users.
@victorcates9330
Ай бұрын
If you look at the scene were the mother turns into a smoke demon (or however you describe it), they animated that presumably from a description. Unless the description of what she turns into was neutral, they must have had words on a page like 'threatening' or ghost. If an animator is told to turn the character into a ghost, it seems reasonable to assume they mean something more in the range of a banshee than Casper the friendly ghost. The only option you have for that character design is they asked for it or it's some kind of misunderstanding. If they have to backfill to explain events (that make no sense), then they're amateur writers. Audiences can only react to what's on the screen.

List could've easily been 40 or 50 points. Some of my favourites: Tommen Baratheon commits suicide for no reason. Mae changes teams midway through her episode long stroll through the forest then immediately forgets she did so once she's aboard Sol's ship Basil betrays the Jedi and Sol does nothing about it. Instead of Qimir, Osha, and Mae escaping together Mae decides the best course of action is to stay behind and erase her memory. (???????) Sol who just stood toe to toe with a (maybe) sith gets force choked to death by failed Jedi out of practise for years. I could go on all day.

I would also add Qimir skinny dipping, along with Osha looking at his “saber”. As for Yord’s actor saying Anakin blew up the Death Star, that’s not the worst part. The worst part is that is him defending his moronic position that there is no good and evil in Star Wars (and that’s his favorite part), by trying to equate Darth Vader’s evil with Luke killing “millions and millions” of people. Never mind that the Death Star the Luke blew up had already destroyed a planet with 2 BILLION people on it. That told me everything I needed to know.

I disliked how new abilities or powers were introduced only for a scene. Dark dude can apparently teleport now, oh okay cool. And he can wipe memories? Oh... kay, cool? And why couldn't they all leave together at the end? Literally why? All the time it took them to cry and hug and talk about wiping memories they could've been back on their ship and gone. 😮💨 The force choke was grotesquely audacious; literally no one could just *speak* what they needed to say. The entire show is nullified for needing to exist if anyone could literally just speak to each other like adults and not toddlers or with the expectation that other people can read their minds. Although it is written by women so 🤷♂️ There's more, but it's beating a dead horse. Fuck this tripe. Not a single episode should've left the writer's room in the shape the script was in. Juvenile and pathetically incompetent.
