thats because people are clouded by their hate, and are always looking for something negative. people are ALWAYS compareing it to legends and then complain that it isnt legends, not being able to accept that this is its own seperate thing. legends isnt going to get worse just because this existe, and people need to get over them selfs. i wont lie, i was sceptical of the show at first, but ones i watched the whole thing, and then rewatched it one more time, i can say for sure that in my opinion that i really liked it. sure there are a few things here and there, but over all it was actually really good. the plot was great, and the motives of the characters makes total sense. one of the coolest parts about it for me is the portrayal of the jedi's flaws and how that actually leads nicely to the prequels. the lightsaber fights too were really awesome! and i really think its a cool plot point that it was neither the jedi or the sith who managed to create life out of the force first. the jedi feard this power and wanted to gatekeep it, while the sith wanted to take it and control it. its original and overall a really enjoyable show 😄

I got the impression that the witches didn't actually turn to smoke but instead it was a sort of mind trick that made them appear as smoke. This is how I understood that Sol was able to stab the mother with his saber. The way he reacted by looking around at the smoke and made a facial expression like "this doesn't seem right" then stabbed at the last known location of the mother and impaled her. Almost like a mental version of Batman dropping smoke bomb. It is kind of hard to stab smoke. And the witches primary power was established as mental manipulation.

i do not believe that is the case in this show. that would seriously put to question the rule of two. plagueis is the master, qimir being the apprentice. this is just speculation, but i believe the only reason that osha was allowed to be trained by the sith is because she is an individual created through the force, which makes her very valuable to both the sith and the jedi. it might be how plagueis managed to learn the powers that palpatine spoke of in revange of the sith.

Noting the concept of corrupting, or bleeding, Kyber crystals to turn them red is only one end of the spectrum. As hinted at, this action essentially hurts the "spirit" within the crystals themselves, not unlike a person or animal being beaten into submission, allowed to recover, but still having scaring from the experience. For the crystals, the color red is that scaring. In the novel "Ashoka" near the end it is described that her white blades were the result of her being able to "heal" two corrupted, aka "bled", Kyber crystals taken from an Inquisitor she had killed.

Giving Qimir a touch of Kylo Ren's theme could be meant to foreshadow the origin of the Knights of Ren. Qimir may identity as a Sith for now, but the presence of Plagueis at this point in the timeline means that won't be the case indefinitely since we know Plagueis eventually takes on Palpatine as his final apprentice and the rest is history. I think Qimir may go on to found the Knights of Ren after he is eventually betrayed or disposed of by Plagueis.

Excellent video, as always! Non-Star Wars technical note: Anakin and the twins' birth is not an "immaculate conception," it's a virgin birth or parthenogenesis. "Immaculate Conception" would appear to mean the same thing, but it isn't; it's a Catholic theological dogma that refers to the Blessed Virgin Mary, as Mother of Jesus being conceived without the inheritance of Original Sin (hence, "immaculate"), even though she presumably was conceived in the same physical way that other humans are. It's a difference of semantics, perhaps, in terms of the literal meanings of the phrase and its individual components for anyone outside of Catholic theological discourse (as long as they believe that "sin" is automatically implied in any act of sex, including consensual procreative sex between a married couple!), but because it refers to a very specific thing historically, it's best not to perpetuate the confusion between them.

There was already a section of the fanbase to disturbed by Disney SW to ever enjoy something from them. While others have more recent disappointments. Hating on Disney for it not being right-wing predates this series, hiring a LGBTQ show runner isn’t to their taste. The show runner used to be Harvey Weinstein’s personal assistant. Some people’s enjoyment is based on them feeling represented. New SW always gets a lot of hate/this wasn’t the SW they were looking for. A certain part of the fanbase is now hoping/wanting Andor to be the new standard for SW storytelling, even though it is very much an oddball. The any attention is good attention is very much true for the Social Media algorithms. And the show itself is far from perfect, the story telling is down right weird. Without a clear main character.
