Hey Dean, it sure would be nice on these type of videos when your home or doing new tool reviews if you would talk to the camera and we can feel as though your just talking to friends…. You show yourself from the chest down so just go a little higher with the camera and talk to us…. Love the content of all your videos so please keep it up… cheers..

nothing much to see, 2x direct drive brushless motors for the wheels, 2x direct drive motors for the blades, a main PCB likely with an arm based CPU soldered in. Camera connections and a battery control. There won't be much at all of interest. The power supply would be entirely potted too. Point of interest would be the types of plastics used and the type of battery cells. The white shell appears ABS (due to the glossy sheen finish) which is UV unstable and water permeable.

Hey Dean, what about repairability? Do they sell spare parts?

I doubt it! Anyone who tells me that any auto lawnmower is 'better for the environment' is a feckin' liar.

@@austenj4539 but they are, energy (carbon) wise they are cheaper to produce (and transport) than a gas powered one. Energy to cut grass is also lower. The main issue is the extreme fragmentation (incl. battery, power supply, electronics... and software). It's another story the low cut grass doesn't help the bees along with the common choice of grass specimens. in this particular instance I have my doubts when it comes to the power supply, it's all potted internally and put in a plastic box - I'd have preferred an off the shelf PSU (frrom meanwell). I know nothing of the batteries, e.g. I 'd not be keen to rebuilding them on my own.

@@stanimir4197 Sounds like complete nonsense to me. God bless you on your 'quest' to eliminating 'extreme fragmentation'. Dean - you now comprehend that your review of this item is developing an Artificial Intelligence [A.I.] review. I like your posts, Dean, but you appear to be a pliant 'diot'

...and then get out the manually operated strimmer to do the edges! Not convinced at all that auto-mowers are 'the future' and I doubt if they are easily serviceable with replacement parts readily available.

Yes reloaded it as I had to make a few changes to the video. It was only posted to private but the channel was hacked and it ended up public before it was ready

I was wondering Dean. Do your work for the shop or is the repair business yours and you just rent space in the shop?

I work for the hardware shop. I am an imployee. I would set up my own repair shop if my imployers where not such a pleasure to work for.

It appears to leave a wide area uncut at the edges of the lawn.

If you had a flat edge it would be perfect.

no mower can cut all the way into a edge, they all leave a strip which has to be strimmed. But you could install a mow strip along the edges for the mower to ride on to get all way in.

Yuka crashed into a car and scratched it. Then it left the working area and headed right into the next obstacle. The navigation and the avoidance safety tech with the camera does not work good enough as for now.
