I love these comments. There's always some douch that comments it's the same shit as on the Comedy Central Special when NONE of this material is on the Comedy Central special. 8've done 3 specials for CC and the last one was an hour of new stuff. They make sure nothing is repeated. There's about 2 hours worth of material on KZitem alone. so if you see me with a volunteer onstage, don't assume it's the same routine. listen to what I'm saying. Oh yeah, you're a douche too.

Kind of touching to see the sort of corny and light-hearted things people used to laugh at. I’ve enjoyed his specials since he started to show up on TV 📺 (I’m a 90’s Guy Myself...graduated high school in 1995) I just watched that documentary, and I have to say...it’s REALLY well done. I was in tears at one point...and not from laughter, but from learning about his hardships and relationships. I don’t care how much coke he did backstage, or anything like that. None of those things defined him. His flaws affected him greatly, but what makes him such a cool human being is how genuine he seems to be behind the thin veil of joking and trickery. The movie did a great job of humanizing him. Definitely suggest checking it out.

Man, Johnathan's stand-up special was one of my favorite shows to watch on Comedy Central in the 90's so the memory of those times led me to checking out the documentary released about his life back in 2019. The trailer hinted at an unusual twist so I watched fully expecting all of what I saw to be another classic Amazing Johnathan ruse that'd reveal itself in the end. It turns out the twist was that he really was addicted to meth and slowly dying from a heart condition. Very strange watch and kind of a bummer for someone who was fond of his work and pulling for him. On the plus side, it seems he was content with his life and he went out on peaceful terms, per news reports.
