Thanks for sharing these enormous new tractors, they have come a long way since the boan shakers used on my uncle's farm. We now live in Scotland next to a Clydesdale horce breeder, i am still amazed at how big they are, esp. when standing on the skyline next to the wind turbines.

That was really interesting. It's great to see older vehicles that are mobile after so many years (lol, I'm only a few years younger than the tractor you arrived in 🙃). Where I live (big city) we have an annual exhibition (the 'EKKA') where the 'country comes to the city ' with all the farming crafts/displays. I think it's really great for these events to promote farming to the wider public.

A Fordson Major was the first tractor I ever used/drove as my grandfather had 2 of them on his farm. We are led to believe that UK farmers are struggling these days but the level of equipment on display & for sale here would suggest otherwise. I wouldn't even like to guess how much £ one of those huge beasts costs but farmers can obviously afford to pay it.

For those that are interested, Farming Yesteryear is at Scone Palace field grounds in September. Vintage tractors, cars steam engines etc. lot to see. Stalls and food stands etc. It’s a great day out 😊
