I love my DB7 Vantage Volante, makes me smile when I tour the country lanes. Pretty reliable with mostly crossover parts and V12 awesome noise.

My DB9 2004 model , I have owned since new , absolutely love the car 65k all done by me , when I bought it I always knew it was my 1 and only Aston . Highly recommend a DB9 to anyone, but boy be fussy as you can be bitten if your not careful. I service my car every year and yes I’ve spent loads over the 18 years of ownership , I never mind to much because as I said my Aston for life

Thank you all at BR for another excellent video. I looked at Virage, Rapide S and DB9.2 . Eventually took the plunge and bought a DB9.2 in October. Mike, I took your advice and went for franchise dealer purchase and so far have not regretted a thing. Hearing your comments here about this model has made me very happy! DB9.2 is indeed an amazing car!

Don’t dispute the Gen1 Vanquish can be a challenge to find some obsolete trim parts for now, but as you said, it’s a unique look and sound and last of the NP cars. After 12 years ownership, I’m the one of the committed Petrolheads you mention Go for a proper “heritage” Aston instead such as original V8 or DBS as you suggest? Well they are horrendously expensive to maintain too, and can’t hold a candle to a Vanquish re performance and overall dynamics. As for corrosion 😱

Thank you for the informations. I've been gathering a lot of information about Aston Martin's car, especially DB9 and V8 vantage as I want one of those two in the near future. Always been in love with Aston Martin and the one I completely fall in love is the Vanquish from 2012 onwards.. she is gorgeous but a bit pricey for me currently so I'll go with a V8 or DB9 before 2027. That's my goal. If someone as any advice, I'm interested, it will be for daily drive on 80/90kph roads. Would like to know the best option. I was thinking of a 4.7 vantage or 2009+ DB9 but maybe earlier version are good enough.

Thank you for yet another fantastic annual valuation guide! I think I’ve found a sweet spot in the Virage, they to me seem to be the best of all worlds. I was just wondering whether these engines like the later DB9 are electronically tuneable? If so I’m off to buy one!

Getting rather carried away with your valuations I scurried off to try to source a DBS Superleggera at or near your target prices. Unfortunately it seems Europe hasn't got the memo yet as prices are approx 2x what you've quoted for a 2019 model. 😞

Hey I have a 2017 rapid s and I’ve had a problem a couple of times now. I will be driving down the highway and the car will tell me to stop and turn off engine because of overheating but the thing is it’s not what do you think it could be?

Hi Sam. It could be some sort of electronic glitch between engine control unit and harness and body module and dashboard module but needs a laptop to diagnose.

Smashing video. DB9 is my first car and it’s helpful to find out where they are trading at. Beautiful ride, enjoyed every moment in the driving seat, but I won’t be surprised to learn if they used child labour to manufacture the engine with the cramped up bonnet space. You can either call it a well enclosed integration, or a job impossible to service. Worth every sweat though, when you see it well polished after the grind with a cold one
