This is a really well made video. It did not just teached me some concepts about deep psychology but how they were used to build all the Dune novel. I knew there was something occult and deep in this story and now thanks to Nexus Void i have that confirmation, through a very elaborate explanation. Frank Herbert was not just a genius because he created this amazing sci-fy novel, but also due to the fact that he was capable of insert in his novels deep thoughts about concepts like politics, environment, sociology, psychology, and even esoterism, not to mention his notable writting skills. Overall, Dune it´s and impressive story, that will certainly be very present and relevant in the years to come.

What do you think of Dune Messiah? Currently I'm of the opinion that the story of dune should have stopped with the first Dune book. At least for Paul. Or do you have a different opinion there? Edit: Currently reading Children of Dune, might revise.

@@nexusvoid314 The great stories grab you and stick with you for decades. New thematic connections appear as if it is the first time you engaged with the text. The moment you think you processed all that the author intended or what you sub-created, something else comes up. Many a fan of this series will say that there is more to come. That is true, much more is to come. You have a sharp mind and I want to say, "Read God Emperor!" But then again, you did such a good analysis of the original from a Jungian Archetypal framework, I almost worry that it would be like people not understanding that the Godfather was Mythology and the Godfather II was Allegory. I suspect that as much as I love God Emperor, it was Herbert saying, "Ok, I tried to be subtle, but now I'm going to be blunt." Anywho, that is not the point of your channel, but I am happy that you liked Dune. :)

Actually Eastern dragons are sometimes featured in the symbolism of certain emperors, the idea being that they commanded the power of a dragon. So in this sense, the worms are also similar to Eastern dragons, just not the storm or river aspect
