Thanks bro. Yeah this and the Atlantis are my Go To mics. Running this through a tube compressor the tubessor gives it that extra sauce.

Nice song! I really feel the vibe. It wouldlove to hear it with more vocal FX and processing, but may be I'm just repeating what my mentors are always saying in response to my songs, haha. Thanks for the video 🙏🙌 That gear is like a dream come true! I am learning production and mixing in the box at the moment, but seeing your set up is truly inspirational. Prophet must sound incredible, I used to have a small monophonic synth called Mopho from the same manufacturer and it was awesome, had to sell it though when I stopped making music for several years. But I am back in the saddle now, though buying only plugins at the moment 😁

Yeah Im definitely going to mix it and put it out around January. Thank you for watching! I am amazed that I have all of this stuff myself. I can create anything. I’ve been doing music since 2003 and started with a PC with no desk, a sound card and 80 dollar microphone lol came a long way. I can definitely hear the difference between this true analog synth and my plugins. But I’ll always use the plugins as my go to for ease of use. I hope the music is going well for you. It’s an amazing experience to learn this stuff. And the learning never stops so it’s always fascinating to me.

Yessir!!! This combo is just as good as anything out, the next up is maybe the Eden or a real 251. I heard some videos with the tubessesor compared to the Cl1b and I always prefer the tube

That sequencial rev 2 looks dope...how did u hook it up to ur 5211? Trs?...I was gonna ask if u used spund packs but saw u used komplete pigments...Keep making moves/videos. Ty Im so jealous of that tf-51, i was thinking bout the tf-29 bit i seems to boost the low freq. But im definayely gettn a telefunken next.

Yes it’s super dope. I’m still new to the analog world but I hooked Trs to xlr cables male and female for the ins and outs. The TF51 is worth every penny. I would save up for it. That and the Atlantis are really the only mics I need. The tf47 is real nice to have. I like the tf29 but it’s just hella neutral. It’s like a flat sound but that makes it good for drums and instruments too I believe.

Less Go!!! I know its not quite the same but I'm building a hybrid setup myself. Picked up the Motif Rack Tone Generator, Roland Juno G and Gi, and the Fantom 06. It took me a minute to adjust to recording both analog and digital but I'm loving it. How are you liking the new gear?

Nice! I’m new to this world but I had Juno and a micro freak on loan but never figured out how to use them properly because I was just busy. I’m just now getting comfortable with it but it’s pretty easy when you just leave everything connected and configure your DAW. Next I gotta do a DAWless thing with my MPC and Rev2. What’s the one synth you can’t live without?

@jacksp8de I hear you. I considered going dawless and importing back into Ableton but I think I finally have this thing setup the way I want it. All the gear is fairly new to the studio roughly a few weeks. Found a steal on the junos at a pawn shop and a loaner from a buddy on the motif. Back in the day we did the MV-8000 and rack modules triton, fantom xr etc. Then switched to digital I miss the sound of it and started to go hybrid. Honestly I miss the rack mounts so much easier to work with and if a key went dead on the piano it was all bad lol!

@@GammaLensMedia that’s dope man ! Yeah I always wanted a triton or motif back in the day but couldn’t afford it. I was on reason 2.5 for a while 😂 that’s a lot of gear man! Ableton is always gonna be what I go back to. It’s just the best for my workflow. I liked the hybrid stuff mainly on vocals before and that was going to be the end of it, but this synth is winning me over. Trying out a bus compressor now.

@jacksp8de yeah I'm gonna push the limit on these machines and see what I can get out of them. Honestly something about that analog sound gets me. I bounced around DAWs for a while and finally stuck it out with Ableton. Yeah gear back in the day was wayyyy expensive for my taste but it had the best sounds at the time. Digital is already there but I'm a sound junky. Enjoy that gear and keep cooking!!!
