Great work! Thank you so much for sharing it. I was the bald samba reggae guy in the cape that spoke with you after and am so glad you sent the link to Chris. Cheers! Axé.

It's an attempt to show in a shorter space of time, the sheer crowd numbers, and the amount of focus, and attention one needs, in order to capture photographs in such an event. I was physically and mentally exhausted by the end.

I’m a white fella, (colour should not matter), but your post made me think. When the “Windrush” generation moved in and sparked the riots this made me sad. But then you alluded to what happened after, when Carnival came in to try and foster relations between black and white, and I can only give you and your brothers respect. I’m a street photographer and went twice pre Covid and then in 2022 post Covid. I’m going again this year 2023 with my camera and lens of choice, Fuji XT5 and the 16 80mm F4 WR. I think it was 2019 when it chucked it down for every minute I was there. But made for some great photography! Thank you for the post

Respect for the feedback. I do not intend to go this year. I still haven't recovered from last year. Hopefully it won't get rained out, but as you say, it makes for some interesting pictures, so maybe pray for rain!… 🙏🏿
