Do you have a link to the interview with Paul Simon? That was great advice from Paul Simon and you, Amit, to think/show linearly when doing audio versus when writing on paper. And that point that songs and audio often catch a person's attention in the middle of the oeuvre (and therefore should be crafted for such a situation) was gold.

I prefer to listen at 1x because I feel I am listening to a real person. It feels more natural and I feel connected to you and your guest. sometimes when the guest is slow I may switch to 1.5x

1.3x is my go to speed for seen and the unseen podcasts. At if I listen Amit speak at normal speed, I'm listening to a different person. 1.3xAmit is my right Amit

In one of the seen and the unseen videos, Ajay had mocked on gentle readers listening at 2x/3x and since then I made a resolution for 2024 to not listen at more than 1.2x. Listening to a podcast without earphones or headphones automatically makes me want to listen to them at slower pace.

Can u also upload these videos as podcasts? I tried but can't build a habit to check YT for these videos.. But I am a regular listener to seen &Unseen podcast..

Talking of listening speeds i have a weird distinction of listening to Indian subcontinent accents (irrespective of language) at 2-2.5x & foreign accents at 1.5-1.75x (depending upon how clear the accent & mic are).

Thanks for triggering my brain to release Dopamine and motivation. I am currently working on a series called Tangents. In which I explore the unexpected connections between objects at home. Each post will dive into how these items relate to one another in surprising and intriguing ways.

I don’t want to jinx and make you conscious not to mention this again on your podcast. I was the one who tweeted about the Abhinandhan Sekhri episode. I do however don’t think it is a unique experience. I’m sure many listeners would be feeling the same way but have not expressed.

Excellent! What is the Financial (or Economic ) model of Potcasting? How do podcasters get their revenue if they consider it as a profession? The time you appear to be spending leaves you little time for anything else. It cannot be a hobby for someone who wants to take it seriously. He needs to earn a living.

1. What's the microphone you're using? 2. What's the website where you get the shirts from? You've mentioned it before but can't find the link. Thanks!

1. The mic we're using for Everything is Everything now is the Rode Wireless Pro. A list of recommended equipment is linked in the show notes above. 2. Ajay reveals all about his shirts in our next episode!

I may not be sure if you are the most decent and intelligent man I know, but you are definitely the most decent and intelligent countryman I know. I am flying to India next week. Amit, you keep asking me to buy you a coffee while I listen to your podcast driving around the South Island of New Zealand. Can I please buy you a coffee in person? I will fly to Mumbai just to buy you a coffee, my love. Please let me, haha. Thanks, Kashif :)

You had me at coffee, you lost me at love! Just kidding, if you happen to be in Mumbai, always glad to have coffee, but don't make plans based on this as my default mode is reclusive and anti-social.
