Man this sucks...my heart dropped when Artie announced it last night... Artie, I listened to every single show from the beginning when you and Nick started, and absolutely loved the show. Got me through some really rough parts in my life and would make me laugh when i was really down and out. Keep up the good health Art and as many fans of yours have said, I will follow you wherever you go man! (I know you dont read this probably, but wanted to write it down somewhere) FIYAHHH!! My favourite quotes from the Artie Lange Show "He's a well known writer, but I'm not sure what he wrote" "She dont know me from Adam!" Add yours here guys!

I was sad when I heard the show was canceled. It was very entertaining and I don’t understand why it didn’t succeed. It was hilarious and he had good guests and even had music acts. So I don’t get it. It was a great studio they built for him and everything. I’m so glad KZitem exists and I can rewatch some of the shows again. But I was still disappointed it didn’t go on. 👏🏻😎🎸

This was such a great show. I listened every morning to the podcast of the night before. Artie did a great job with the interviews and kept the show moving along with his one-liners. The back and forth between Artie and Bocchetti was great. I loved seeing John's face be super serious one second and as soon as Bocchetti said or did something funny you would see John's expression completely lift and light up with genuine laughter. I'm hoping my prediction is right and Artie gets a podcast. If that happens, it'll be even better. No FCC limitations. But I know as much as anyone here so I can only hope.

My guess is the being high/nodding on air on many nights became too obvious and gave DirecTV a bad look, so they had to pull the plug. It was a dam shame though. I used to look forward every night to watch the show at 10 or 11, I forget. And if I missed that first episode, I could catch the one directly after at 1am or 2. (Was either 10 and 1 or 11 and 2.)

SUCKS big time. The only upside is that I lost my DTV 3 months ago so I haven't been able to watch the show all night as I used to. But seems like a really dopey move by Direct TV. This was the best possible lat night talk show they could have hoped for and they'll probably waste this beautiful studio on a far lesser talent. Artie provided so many incredibly funny moments on this show. And I'll miss JRitchie too. At least Bochetti returns to obscurity where he belongs. Bochetti was hilarious as a disastrous human being, but totally delusional and completely devoid of any talent. Hope Artie is back on TV soon in a similar capacity. Love the guy. Take Care, brush your hair.

Honestly, I think I was right that hiring Nick DiPaolo and Artie trying to do his own show was a huge mistake. Artie should have just hired KC Armstrong and took past Stern show members to go off of his Stern fame. Radio is a dying platform. Only thing that works on radio anymore is Stern, political shows, and morning/afternoon sports shows. Don't disagree with him doing sports talk, but a night time sports show was boring. If he piggybacked off of his Stern fame you're talking many more listeners and show lasts at least 5 years. The hiring of DiPaolo was Artie being a friend and not Artie thinking about his radio show.

I listened to Artie daily. It was just the wrong format. John, a nice guy and sometimes amusing, was not right for the show, either. Also, three hours/day is just too much of a grind. He needs to do a two-show a week 1 hour+ podcast with one guest. He can talk like a man and also bring Mike along as his sidekick to bust his chops. I'll miss hearing him daily, but the writing was on the wall once they ditched all musical guests (if the ratings were good, they wouldn't have made such an abrupt change with the format). My other option is a re-boot of "Simple Life" with Artie and Mike (instead of Paris and Nicole) - that would be hot.
