Aurochs probably inspired the Minotaur in ancient Greek mythology, as well as Minoan bull-leaping.

Combine the Chianina with the Texas Longhorn and you get a totally independent animal that doesn’t need humans, breeds easily, grows quickly, their average size is 2000-2500 for cows and 2800-3000 for bulls, they are draught tolerant and do well even when grazing is bad, and they have giant horns… both the Longhorn and the Chianina, in my opinion, are simply slightly different epigenetic expressions - and both are still Auroch. The big difference is that Aurochs were claimed to go on rampages. We have zero idea how the Chianina or the Longhorn would act if they weren’t used to humans and if multiple bulls existed in the same herd - those 2 factors combined would likely have them very rampagey if they suddenly came across human settlements and got spooked.

Ever wonder how the whole process of Bullfighting started? The Auroch was noted throughout antiquity for its ferocity, and it's aggressiveness towards People. It was hunted for it's meat, hide, hooves, bones and horns of course; but that was just the icing on the cake of successfully facing and killing 2 tons of hate, hell, and discontent that would have liked nothing more than to grind you into a muddy paste. Some animals are best left extinct.

I think they the coloration and the horns right but it’s still missing the shoulder mussels, it looks too much like a domesticated cattle. If you look at bison, guars or buffalos you can also see that wild cows normally keep their heads lower and have higher shoulders.

Bison have vertical " ribs " over their shoulders that makes it look like they are carrying the head lower , not sure about buffalo or gaur Bison and buffalo have adapted to grazing short grass , carrying the head lower . The European wisent ( adapted to forest foraging ) carry their heads higher than bison , which are each other's closest relative

Cattle were domesticated twice independently. 1. At Nabta Playa in Africa (southern Libya/West Sudan) 2. At Indus Valley in Pakistan/northern India. Europe DID.NOT domesticate cattle. Europeans are using their current hegemony to appropriate human achievement with respect to pigs, horses, dogs, cattle, first use of iron, ancient Egyptians etc.

The Auroch is (Bos primigenius), Cattle has evolved to be (Bos taurus), they are gone. You can't get (Bos primigenius) using (Bos taurus), you just get a cheap version, a Cattle (Bos taurus) breed that looks like Auroch but is not. Not all (Bos) are Cattle only the domesticated, (Bos) is Latin for Ox, and Cattle is domesticated (Bos) Ox, from Anglo-Norman French catel, variant of Old French chatel, Middle English chattel (denoting personal property or wealth): now Cattle.

@@deinsilverdrac8695 Even if you are of the view point of Eurasian Aurochs (Bos primigenius primigenius) and Domestic Humpless Cattle (Bos primigenius taurus), it still stands that crossbreeding and selective breeding of current Domestic Humpless Cattle (Bos primigenius taurus), isn't going to result in Eurasian Aurochs (Bos primigenius primigenius) only look a likes. Just like (Quagga) Karoo Plains Zebra (Quagga quagga quagga) project, intergrading and selective breeding of current extant subspecies of Plains Zebra (Equus quagga), isn't going to bring back the extinct Karoo Plains Zebra (Quagga quagga quagga), they are only going to look like them.
