Thank you so much for this series, I can’t wait for the next video. You apologized for the simplistic example you used but to be honest I found it most helpful and would love for you to give other examples throughout this series. I have a 16 Mo old granddaughter who has red flags for Autism, my goal is to learn as much from you as I can to help her while we await her eval and potential services. I binge watch your videos and appreciate you more than you know!🥰

THANK YOU, Laura!!!! I’m in grad school now and I have an upcoming practicum in May. I just found you and started binging your episodes whenever I get a chance! I’m trying to get through them ALL before I start my practicum 😅❤. You are so sweet and engaging! I’m finding that your podcast are a great addition to my coursework, because although your podcast aligns with all the theoretical context, you additionally provide lessons like how to actually have tough discussions with parents, how you explain concepts in lay terms, how you meet kids where they are at (with concrete examples!!!), and you always give a nice review of normal/ disordered development, and so much more ❤thanks again!!!

Hi, I just came across your channel. Great stuff! I'd very mich like to get your autism workbook but as I live in Germany, shipping charges will be very costly. I was wondering if the book comes in a downloadable/ ebook form as well? Reply

My premature baby born only 650 grams in 28 weeks is showing signs of autusm, he do not point out things he needs, even he is not able to tell me whether he is hungry or not, do not look us, just running running and running and bumps into everything. He also does not notice any other stranger in the room, if we are out in market he goes to anyone he sees without looking thier faces.does not repond to his name, no single word he speaks. But he loves to go outside and just like to see out of window in the car, if car stops he cries, he just want everything moving. But when we say lets go outside he brings his shoes, means he is listening but he is only responding what he likes. Also he loves when we show him new things or play with him, he likes rhymes ans when i sing then he looks at my face.

That background noise is very distractive. Please understand that most people who have autistic children also have problems with attention themselves, like A.D.D., so it's really hard for us to stay focused on what you're saying.
