I happen to live in Germany and just got my drivers license today. I just wanted to add, that it's not like you can drive incredibly fast on the Autobahn, facing no consequences. If you crash at a speed of more than 130 kph, you have to prove, the accident also would have happened if you were driving slower. Even then they might say it was your fault as well, because of your inappropriate speed. I also wanted to add, that 2500€ is quite average for a drivers license. Each time you fail the practical exam, you have to pay about 450€ to 500€,if you want to try again, which happens to every second German driver on average (according to my driving instructor). But if you will ever get your license withdrawn by the police it will cost a fortune to get it back. It depends on the case but if you get caught driving drunk for example, you might need a psychological report in order to get your license back.

Thank you so much for your input. I knew that they were strict but did not realise how strict they are, much better way of doing things than here in Australia. It’s incredibly easy to get a drivers licence here and the quality of driving here shows it.(particularly on highways)

Autobahn safety stats are below EU average. It's not safe to drive that fast. But germans will defend no speed limits like americans defend the right to bear arms.

When I was driving through Germany, the average speed on a busy day was about 120-130 km/h. Everyone kept their distance and the difference between the right lane's average speed and the left one wasn't significant, which made changing lanes easy. Only in the evening when the highway was nearly empty I was passed by a BMW going over 250km/h while I was cruising 180km/h in the rightmost lane lol.

First off, really nice video! You probably get this a lot, but I was at first a bit irritated by your voice. Is it just your normal voice, or is there some kind of back story to it? I don't mean this as an insult. Just genuine interest. Although I'm fine with getting my comment deleted, if it's a sensitive subject to you.

Yeah look it is of course somewhat sensitive but thank you for your politeness. It’s something I’ve dealt with for years and it has better and worse days, just started breaking in high school and never stopped. After years of ignoring it I’m finally seeing a speech pathologist to get to a more consistent state. I’ve learned some vocal warm ups as well which seems to be helping so hopefully future videos will be less irritating to you if you choose to watch them. Thank you for your feedback, it’s always appreciated.

@@OhCar_Magazine Looking back at this I don't think irritating is the right word. It definitely is not an issue. Just takes a couple sentences to understand that it's just something you don't quite have control over and that's it. Definitely keep up the KZitem grind. If you improve on your voice, good on you. If you don't, that won't stop you from being successful. Like @xjmdm said, it's perfectly intelligible. I don't even think your mic is that bad.

Huh okay, I’m currently using a Shure 635A/B. It does end up needing some boosting in post so will be getting an inline pre-amp to boost the signal. Is there a microphone that you think would suit better? keeping in mind it needs to be versatile for when I need to make more journalistic content too. Thanks for any input

With just a few cars on road, it's easier to get good safety number, but an Autobahn on USA, Brazil or other country with a lot of people and a lot of reckless drivers is asking for a blood painted road.

Completely agree, the amount of both physical and social engineering that would need to occur is astronomically large and in my opinion completely unfeasible.

If it could work in my country? 😂 In Hungary? Not under the current rules and exams.
