Working for a restoration company, I ended up on a B.C. housing job where I was greeted by a lady who was running the restoration show. I was polite, reliable, hard working, and getting the job done. When she first introduced herself, she had a scowling expression on her face, and she let me know that the restoration company that I was working for was supposed to have done the job, but hadn't. I guess she was talking about a pre-arranged Schedule for the trades which somehow hadn't been met on time, and I basically stayed quiet and did not get involved. In about a week she came into the suite while I was working, and then told me that the other tradesmen did not want me on the jobsite. This was truly a punch in the gut, and very disheartening, as well. Then she pointed out the drywall mud on the trim, and the drywall mud in the electrical boxes, and said " that" was the reason actually that they didn't want me in there. Never in about 100 different renos have I ever been turfed-off of the jobsite, go figure!
