Daphne is what happens when you don't set boundaries and give consequences or discipline at home. During my freshman year at Pratt (NY) we were bullied by a skinhead named Kira who shoved girls into walls. When my turn came (to be shoved) I acted first prompting an apology. The following year I saw Kira getting out of a limousine in Manhattan. She was dressed different and clearly wealthy. I never saw her again, so I don't know what came of her. Daphne reminded me of Kira.

How awesome it must have been to grow up in a wealthy family living in one of the Central Park West Historic District buildings, in the 1980s and 90s! Holy crap! Being a teenager and sneaking out at night to smoke weed and rollerblade through Central Park? Wow. There was a palpable electricity in the air in New York City during the 90's - the city was brimming over with creative energy. "Starving artists" could still afford to live there, and the city was full of them. Artists, musicians, actors, writers, directors, dancers, etc etc etc. What a shame - this girl had everything going for her, but, for whatever reason, she could not see or appreciate it.

While they were mostly teens, they were older teens, like 18 and 19. That doesn't matter except for the fact that they had to be THE DUMBEST group of 18 and 19 year olds I've ever heard about. I saw the movie several years back and figured it was exaggerated. No, that's how clueless and stupid those people really are. Apparently, Bobby was the only halfway intelligent one but he also really was an enormous a-hole and unfortunately, instead of just getting the hell away from him, they did what they did. But what the hell. These kids were about my age at the same time and didn't live in the middle of nowhere or not have knowledge of the real world. No, but being grateful is a good start to happiness and it's a lot easier to be grateful if you're not hungry and homeless half the time, like I was in high school. Then you get friends who want to take advantage not of your money but your situation, so they can abuse you, knowing that you have no support and will be grateful enough to just have dinner and a bed that they can get away with it. It's one thing if you have everything this girl had but your family is just horrible, it's another entirely to have literally everything, including a loving, supportive family.

Of course, a brutal murder is a MISUNDERSTANDING! They disembowelled Michael! Filled his belly with rocks... Christoher is an absolute monster, Daphne an accomplice. 3-9 years each??? What??? Daphne has aged soo much in the few years she spent in jail, she was so beautiful. It's all very sad - one man dead, and two ados who murdered..

I place the blame on the parents. They let these kids do what they wanted, no parental oversight. Disgusting.

Monsters' voice is apparently good enough to fall asleep to. I wouldn't recommend sleeping to somebody talking about murder. Especially while you're in the tub. I'm surprised that it was only my head that started hurting when I woke up.

Isn't it weird that grown adults are too scared to venture into Central Park at night but Daphne did - and apparently, she never got mugged or worse? 🤔

They aren’t- you’re just being fear-mongered by media. San Francisco is not the 7th layer of Hell and millions of people hang in Central Park daily.

Grown adults remember the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. Young teens grew up in the Disneyfied version of the city

Utterly disgusting. I guessed right from the start that money would talk, and so it did. So much for justice being blind. Daphne was clearly the instigator - I'm surprised that she hasn't developed into a serial killer. I guess time will tell.
