@@kierenmoore3236I own a number of Arturia's boards and they are of decent quality. The Keystep 37 is a great little workhorse, the Keylab 61 mark 2 is fantastic. Also, their soft synths are very solid. I love Pigments.

@@JayTheLane That’s great, enjoy; I’m sure their hardware (and VSTs, even) is decent (I have a Keystep, somewhere) … I just don’t like the sound of their hardware synths, mostly. Other people do. That’s fine.

Really appreciate you did an interview with florian and learn a bit more about his background, thoughts. And hoenhe approaches things. The behringer stuff took a bit too much space in the video, which i didnt find so mich interessting to follow. Wished to hear more about how he produces and finds ideas for his jams, like more into the musical stuff. I would like to know if florian ever released tracks and under what synonyme and if he would ever consider to do so in future. I believe he found a good way to introduce his music snippets in his badgear videos. Maybe he also has iues to finalize a track and found the perfect solution with bad gear 😊

I'm a fan of the show. The sarcasm and memes be over the top. It was helpful for me during my season of g.a.s .back in 2021. Many of the units reviewed I have came across in pawn shops but still couldn't afford way back when. All I will say about Behringer is they are spot on with the reproduction with added modern touches to the RD-8. It sounds so close to the TR 808.

"I just reflect on the negativity around the gear in the most impartial way possible"...I misquoted that but I think it's pretty important because I feel many folks get angry at gear because of expectations before buying. I truly wish that there was easier ways to try out gear before buying. For one, other folks might not have such a negative experience with them after purchasing. Even still, the feature list isn't the full story and I think people fall for that. "Oh only 2 gigs of sampling? That's weak!" despite the fact some samplers have their own internal compression that gets you far more than the number describes. Couple that with how the box feels, how fun is it to use, etc. Either way, I think expectations are what leads to a lot of ire. Except in Bheringer's case. They actively court people to go off the deep end and I'm not a fan of 'engagement at all costs' style marketing. It's low. And that's before we dig into Bheringer trying to kill the companies that built the market it's currently in.

Regarding Behringer stuff not covered that aren't clones. I'd be interested to see a Bad Gear on Behringer Deepmind, since that one isn't really based on anything (might have started as a Juno clone but is now something way more). I have one and it's a very powerful polysynth.
