Had an Evertune on a 7 string I didn’t get to play too much, sold it and replaced it w an ltd ec1000 with an Evertune. Its my drop c machine now and it’s perfect, Evertunes are just so amazing I don’t ever wanna go back to normal bridges

Yeah 100%, going to be insanely hard to add a guitar and it not be an Evertune now. Got two and looking at a 3rd next year. Took the solar to drop G and the balaguer here is in drop c, I swear it’s been months since I’ve touched the tuning and they’re dead perfect daily

@@ampspedalspickups I move my guitars CONSTANTLY from my house to my friends house where we work on drum parts for our band to the practice space where we have full band practices and all of these places have different temperatures so not worrying about tuning when I sometimes have to play the same guitar in 3 different places on the SAME DAY is just a totally time saver. Probably save 40 minutes a day from tuning and climate acclimating time

Ooof yeah I can see that. It’s saved me so much time on recording. Sometimes I’d have to retune for certain parts and it’s just a ball ache. Now it’s only me and my bad playing that stops me in my tracks, not the guitar 🤣

Man I love the BB sig. Only found it after ordering my custom, but I picked very similar specs. 26.5" HH woodman with an Evertune, ebony board and the modern matching headstock.

Ooof awesome! Yeah I really dig them, have 0 complaints about this one it just feels and plays awesome and the evertune bridge is a godsend . Hah isnt it funny when that happens. The Neil Westfall LTD model is a white EC-1000 with a BKP Aftermath in Drop A... My white EC-1000 from 12 years ago has a BKP Aftermath in it and is also setup for Drop A/A# for all our ripoff ghost inside riffs 😆, feels good to get validated on choosing some pro specs in both cases 🤘

I played a Balaguer for the first time at a music festival a few months ago. They had two of them on display and they were, by far, my favorite playing guitars they had there. There were just 2 of them tucked in a corner hiding away from everything else, I saw it and I had to do a double take and thought "wtf? A Balaguer?". I've seen a few artists using them and they just look COOL. I don't know what it is about them, they don't have anything that stands out about them they just look like serious, cool guitars. I get a similar vibe visually with some ESP guitars that I've seen. Can't put my finger on it but I see them and just think "that guitar looks legit"

Somehow the solar stuff is expensive in Australia and the balaguer is cheaper than US… so in the end the solar vinter and this balaguer woodman cost about the same…. The balaguer feels like a much better guitar and I really have nothing bad to say about the solar (other than I’m iffy on the fishman fluency pickups), so it’s a compliment to both of them. If money is equal on both of these I’ll take the balaguer every time, just my sort of vibe over a full boar metal monster

Tones sounded great. Love the punk stuff. It reminds me of my teenage punk band days :)

Oh dang I forgot that was a 5 piece neck, and with that combo of woods it should be rock solid. Set it up once and be good for a real long time.

Yeah it’s why I don’t take this stuff for granted. This and the solar are the first guitars I’ve bought in like 12 years!

I wanted that guitar for so long, but now it’s not available anymore. Should’ve finished college sooner

@@ampspedalspickups Yeah, I might go for a custom build from them in the future. They usually run some decent spring/summer and black friday deals :)
