A classic folk tale, in the traditional ranking bass style, done ENTIRELY in rhyme! I remember watching that special on TV 38 back in the '90s!

Same was born in 1993 but was a hand be down vhs from my brothers. Been stuck in my head for sooo long, I’m from the UK so not a story anybody knows about. Even my brothers can’t remember it telling me I’d made it up

Man I have not seen this animation since I was like, 3-4. I thought it was silly then and it still is. Animation is like the old Rudolf and friends stop motion movies. Appropriate for a tall tale like this.

I remember seeing this so many years ago, back when I was in Kindergarten and First Grade! I mostly remember it for that fiddle music which was playing and the chopping context between Paul and Pete! Good to see it here!

Why is it that the 1958 Paul Bunyan cartoon is better than the 1973 version...? Not a bad show by any means, I'm just confused at how the animation techniques seem to have regressed.

Because this was made by Rankin Bass, whereas the 58 version is done by Disney, if I recall correctly
