This is a true view of Bangladesh. Most of the channels show Dhaka, and only the centre of Dhaka which is only a small portion of the country. The villages and small cities have the original Bangladeshi vibe.

I loved every bit of it. Well done guys ! Will be watching the rest of your sylhet explore videos. Yayy! It’s so cold and dull in NY. My Sunday’s are so boring and stuck at home . U live in new york n ur missing bangladesh? U was born there wasnt u? I cant imagine someone born in new york missing bangladesh specially since it shud b somewhat alien to them. I was born in uk as a mixed race bangladeshi n i got no love for the place or the government amongst other things we wont go into. I only know n feel the western mindset of caring, helping, giving to others, proffesionalism, being considerate...etc. n since im a muslim i feel like that gives me more of a islamic attitude to life jus as long as i add my belief to it. Western ppl hv shown me many times more care n aid then bangladeshis hv. They recommended i jus leave my cat while western ppl literally searched around with me till a few eventually came out with registered shelters for her. I got love n respect for the ppl of my country Uk. They good hearted n kind ppl

Hi Taz & Libby, Another Lovely vlog guys, I just love how you both are so open minded, how you make the effort to blend in with the area of city. I can see Taz is a proper brave heart and much respects to him for not shirking out on trying things out but I have to agree with Libby, she makes a very valid point, please be careful with trying random street foods from random street vendors in BD or anywhere in the world for that matter unless you have a bonafide guide or a friend who can recommend you to a place that they know well in terms of the quality and hygiene levels of that street vendor. It’s always advisable to grab food from restaurants as they will be vetted by hygiene, heath and safety officers in BD, not that these street vendors aren’t also vetted but it’s always best to be safe than sorry. Just want to add an important fact: 95% of curry restaurants are owned, managed and food cooked by Bangladeshis. Bengali style cooking is very flavoursome with heat as that is how it is cooked at home. It’s not an Indian style of cooking, it is more like a Bangladeshi style of cooking, it’s our own version because not all curries are Indian in fact some of the dishes on the menu don’t even exist in India but since Bengalis have introduced it in the UK Indians started taking credit for it. The Chicken Tikka Mossala is a British Bengali dish created by a Bangladeshi immigrants who moved to the UK in the 70’s, just like the many dishes you find in a curry restaurant in the UK or anywhere else but the Indians have taken the credit for it and claim it’s their dishes only because they saw these dishes were becoming very popular, not all curries are from India because every region has its own style and Bengal certainly has its own. Bangladeshis like Latif Inspired (KZitemr, Chef & Restauranteur), Tommy Miah (Chef & Restauranteur), Afelia's kitchen (KZitemr, Chef & Entrepreneur) , Rehana’s Food Diaries (Instagramer, Chef & Entrepreneur), Kishwar Chowdhury (Australian Masterchef finalist), Nadiya Hussain (Winner of The Great British Bake Off in 2015), Aktar Islam (Is a multiple award-winning Michelin starred chef & winner of Gordon Ramsey F-Word) and many more in the UK & internationally are all flying the flag for authentic & modern Bengali cuisine, these guys are an inspiration for the younger generation of British & South Asian communities around the world to get into the culinary field. Most people in the UK, Europe, USA, Australia have come to realise in the past 10 years that 95% of those Indian restaurants & take-aways they have been eating in are actually owned and cooked by Bengalis from the Syhlet region of Bangladesh. Our curry industry has given jobs to many people and given the exchequer of the government near £4 billion pounds in tax revenue as mentioned and recognise by British politicians like David Cameron and other big business entrepreneurs, they have said this in the British Curry Awards which the founder is the late Enam Ali (British Bangladeshi origin) so the people of the UK now realises it's Bengalis that run the majority of curry restaurants. The natives of the country really appreciate the efforts of our people and enjoy the the cuisine, hence why curry is one of the most popular cuisine in Britain. Thank you so much for this fun vlog. Much love from Sylhet ❤️

Bangladesh Agriculture University Mymensingh & Chittagong University are of the largest and Beautiful University in Bangladesh , Dhaka Janhangirnagar is also big and nice . The Keane Bridge is a notable landmark of Sylhet city, Bangladesh. This bridge is called the gateway to Sylhet city .This bridge was built in 1936 and is named after Sir Michael Keane who was the English Governor of Assam from 1932 to 1937.This bridge is located over the Surma River at the middle of Sylhet city which is 246 kilometres (153 mi) northeast of Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. Now day no vehicles are allowed to drive through the bridge. It is therefore the longest footover bridge in Bangladesh. Best wises

@androgamer5123 no it's not called Nagri language. That's propaganda. The language is Sylheti.

Don't worry about street food in Bangladesh sis, Their more fresh on the day produce than from the fridge. Plus those guys are always busy because if they get any rep of un-hygie then they lose their customers, which they cannot afford to do so. By the way the holiday area in Sylhet is called Jaflong and must visit place.

I live in Canada but originally from Bangladesh (Dhaka), and I haven't been to Sylhet for about 18 years.
