What would your advice be for researching services for Ireland itself? The story of Henry Lalor surviving a treacherous slaughter I found quite interesting. Is there sources for finding more historical goings on of the times of the Seven Septs?

@@kevinlawler2571 yeah there is a poem in the book of Lecan which states among the Cruthini or curtini or ireland are the seven septs of ireland The Cruthini was a Gaelic term for picts . Its said their pale complexion is said to give evidence of this . Further proof is that early kings of uilida where o"laithlabiars Its said that a munster tribe was invading lienster and the king of lienster applied for help from the king of Ulster fringe which came the seven septs as mercenaries. After defeating them they were gives laois as tribute . Further more they trace their ancestry to Connell cernach of the red branch knights. I'm sure the libraries of portlaois would have more. I have noticed they have 7 roundabouts in portlaois names after the septs . Yes I would live to know more about Henry lalor who survived . I was in MULLAHMAST on new years evening just to pay my respects still quite eery.
