I believe them, yes indeed and I believe those nice BBC men who come round and knock at your door to ask if you have any jars of cucumbers in dill in your attic, to which I always reply... I once knew an Indian lady, She stood but ten foot high, The colour of her hair was sky blue-pink, and she only had one eye. I asked her if she'd marry me, and be my lawful wife, but the only thing that she could say... Was arrowah tit bum skray. The nice BBC men then ask...Have you been watching Dolly Parton and His Orchestra this week at all sir? to which I always reply... There was a young girl from Vancouver, who shaved her fat bum with a Hoover then after ten weeks, of hoovering her cheeks. Her bum just got smoother and smoother. Talking of Vancouver, Ma cuisine préférée est la poitrine de poulet aux champignons sautés, sauce à la crème et pommes de terre dauphinoises...After which we all sit down & watch a documentary about the shortage of Thick Cut Marmalade in Grimsby.

When have the BBC ever told the truth? I think it might have been last Tuesday when the BBC announced...Although we knew Hew Edwards was actually Alvin Stardust's Great Grandmother, but as far as we know, he was not bequeathed Jimmy Saville's tracksuit in his will. I also think Barry Vinegar should get at least 20 million quid a year...I mean, how is the poor man expected to survive on just over a paltry one million? AND he writes such lovely poetry, such as... There was a young lady from Woking who couldn't stop Farting and Boaking, Not being her fault She tried Epsom Salt Which thankfully stopped her from choking.

I was born and bred in Whitby and it's a snicket. We also have ghauts which are narrow alleys running down to the Esk which were often used for smuggling. Also the concrete structure is the Woodsmith halite mine's lift gear. When finished the gear will be sunk into a tunnel to stop it disturbing the view. The columned building you point out is Whitby Museum (my mum is a curator there) and the domed building is a block of flats built by my cousin which isn't appreciated much in the town. I think lots of folk call it Xanadu or the pleasure dome;]

We're retired full time travellers currently in the moho in Albania (3rd month) and love seeing 'home' as presented in your vids, love the banter and the humour and the observations 😊 you must travel to the continent when you get a chance you'll be amazed how much you save compared to UK sites, not sure how available Madri lager is like! Anyway, we're from Donny Donny Donny and after watching about 20 vids and saying, I'm sure I've known him in a previous life, I made some reasonable enquiries and turns out I did 😂 well I do 😂well tha nos what I mean 🤷♂️🤣

@@Stchristopherofatlantis ahhh fabulous 😍 Albania has been the biggest surprise. People unbelievably friendly, kind and helpful 👍 Mrs now telling me not to respond like some sad KZitem stalker 🤣 back t'Albania, brilliant country to visit and travel, challenging, but brilliant and like Greece 40 years ago (seems to be the cliche) but it's just about covers it. Anyway, loving the channel it's great 😃 stalking over, over 😄

Many folk in the North East of England and up to Scotland call ginnels, wynds. Some are named as such in Whitby.

My challenge (should I decide to accept it) is to get to the top of the steps to the Abbey ( after knee surgery) however that’s more yer slope which I’ve now convinced myself I can do! It’s a cut not a ginnel. White flower is bindweed. Pink flower is mallow. Love your vlogs. X

That is a good challenge but before attempting it I would do lots of knee exercises, I didn't have a problem with knees years ago when I went to the top but they really hurt by halfway up & I kept stopping every so often to get my breath

No ,it’s a gunnel, you were going down it with a wall on one side, fence on the other. ( from Lancashire).

Love the backing music to your vlogs, can I ask what the song is at 17.51? Such a beautiful tune. Great to see the channel growing, such great entertainment, and guaranteed a laugh😂 in Derbyshire we call them “jittys “ not ginnel.

There is no upper age limit to being a member of the YHA. As I have been a life member since my early 20s. It cost effective way of getting a holiday and it has moved from the barrack block experience of the early 70s.
