George brought so much to this song. Very modern (well I guess it was futuristic at the time) and soulful playing.

Music lessons are both aural and visual. Tabs/chord shapes on screen are of great help. May your generosity come back to you hundredfold. We appreciate your talent and efforts. Thanks ❤

that little fill is so Hendrix - I never realised until you played it. This makes me wonder [and try to remember] how did they/we learn from eachother before youtube and google and ULTIMATE GUITAR???!!! Looking at the timeline, it kinda fits, but doesn't. Maybe I'm too swayed by your playing style? I'm confused. I bet you play great Frusciante!

i was thinking the same, by 1969 they were fond of hendrix so its definitely possible

Basically by ear. for the new ones that haven't develop their hearing skills, the bandmates or friends would teach them the chords/riffs/licks to play. just having fun with music/licks/riffs/chords back then. sometimes we went to concert just to see how they play the songs on guitar or bass. once you master and unlocking the hearing skill, it pretty fun to recognise which chords and scales they were using. then again tabs are way easier.

That riff sounds like a wind cries mary..

@@shep751 yes, I’ve just sat with my strat and worked it out - it’s the inverted E just like JH played on wind cries mary. with a similar embellishment.

You guys should check out JOhn mayer and keith urban at crossroads Don't Let me down) 2014...Epic, also Keith loses his strap mid solo, fixes it, doesn't miss a note and then CA-RUSHES IT.
