Majority of homeless people have had extraordinary lives. It’s hard for me to find this funny since it’s kinda true once you talk to someone on the street. One story I read about was an older man lost his wife, the love of his life and couldn’t handle the pain, turned to drugs and ended up losing his house. I sometimes think, no matter how successful one becomes homelessness is not out of the question.

I had a boss once who claimed to love God and be such a Christian and yadda yadda. There were one or two times where a homeless person approached one of us, this one in particular asking if I'd buy him a coffee. I was broke so I just said sorry man, I'm broke. I hear my boss shout from the other side of the vehicle, "Fucking loser!" After we finish up and are pulling off, he must have noticed my disdain for that kind of behavior because he started acting like a little child that pissed their pants. "Man, I guess this job has just given me a hard heart." I wish I would have told him it wasn't the job, it was his rightwing politics of shitting on anyone his masters on the TV told him to. I joined that job early enough in the Trump administration to tell myself, alright, sure, I'll give one of these freaks the chance to prove me wrong. He turned out to be just the dishonest, disrespectful, disorganized, dumb as fuck retard as I assumed they all are. I quit eventually but that retard has contacted me more than a couple times asking if I'd like to come work for him again. Dude's a fucking shitstain and I sincerely hope he runs his van head-on into a brick wall at full speed.

She was funny to me as a kid. But as an adult this is truly sad. It relates to alot of us on a personal level.

I remember this episode when I was I kid.. And I felt so uncomfortable and sad for her Nothing changed since then expect the knowing how important it is to have less perfectionism and more of a secure family/friends structure and a good therapist when needed. (not only when wanted)

This is a sad reality that a lot of the time it’s society’s expectations and feelings of self isolation are what make people crazy.

@Captain McDog Ya well I did a study in Sociology a couple years ago why men and women go to college. From what I found men want to go to prove something or satisfy their ego's well women go to prove and justify that they are equal. I think a part of the reason in most cases men we are taught to be the "dominant one" so men will date down instead of someone of similar caliber well... not to mention society has kind of brainwashed women that they can do it all but the truth is men or women can't excel at everything at least not all at once.

@Captain McDog Stop perving on women too. Girls and the boys they sleep with are at fault for teen pregnancies idk what you're getting at it's not like there were third parties involved in their choose to have sex.

Reminder that the scent from cat urine causes a parasite to wear away at your brain. That’s actually where the crazy cat lady trope comes from

@Brett Segmento neither. The parasite comes from cat poop, not urine. It's called toxoplasmosis if you want to research it on your own. It's a prion disease! I think OP here is getting confused because what toxoplasmosis does in rodents, is make them attracted to the smell of cat urine. Supposedly it doesn't do the same for humans but honestly, I don't believe it's been studied very intensely. Who knows? A large percentage of North Americans have toxoplasmosis at any given time. It's incredibly common.

Thats sad, we always thought crazy cat lady was crazy from the begining, but she had a nice life and two good high paying jobs until she had a burnout and went down the cat alley. In reality it really there are many people who overwork themself, dont have children and then try to fill the void with cats.

Yaa she enjoyed her young life, but had to trade her old age. I actually wouldn't have any problem living like that to be honest.
