They are real brothers, four years apart, from Southern Florida. Still picking and singing today. This song's message everyone should take to heart.

Oh I love this song. I have not heard it in a while. It came out 4 years after I graduated from high school! Yep, I’m pretty old!

Oh, what a great time it was during that Country/Rock crossover & emergence of Southern Rock on the national stage!

Used in a very underrated comedy circa 1980 called Little Darlings. This is such a nostalgic song for me.

Loved that movie and everyone in it! Alas, Little Darlings could never be played today without getting cancelled. It was a different time and a generation ago yet toay’s culture systematically casts aspersions to the yesterdays, without context. ✌🏽

"Don't Pull Your Love" by Hamilton, Joe Frank and Reynolds is very similar, another great song. Also the Ozark Mountain Daredevils, "If You Want To Get To Heaven", worth checking out.

Hey Ace, I pray you all are ok following the hurricane! For those that don’t know Ace lives in the Caribbean and they were hit by Hurricane Beryl 5-6 days ago. I doubt he’ll have internet access etc for awhile. You’re in my thoughts and prayers!

I believe this IS the studio version dubbed over a live video. The song does fade out at the end in the studio version. I saw them in concert back in the '80's and of course, the song didn't fade out when performed live.

IMO, best song of the day! Smilin' and drivin' music. Wave to your neighbors! IIRC, the song does fade out quick like that. It was a radio song.

We used to want the music to be played live too but we had to accept what we got because it took forever to get our music represented on television as it was

My dad used to play this album when I was little. I forgot how funny they looked. Even for a 10 year old in 1984 I thought they looked funny.
