I really like when fashion adapts or even recreates fashion already within games into real life. It's not as flagrant as just slapping a character on various articles of clothing, and in some cases they can look really nice. Like that collab between Acronym and Deus Ex with the sweet Adam Jensen jacket
@chrisheartman9263
3 жыл бұрын
Yeah. I love that too. What I hate is when you slap either the face/logo of the game on a tee and you call it a day or you do that atrocity that I discovered thanks to LV (aka just "trying" to get the vibe of the game, but at the end not referencing anything and having to slap a grafic tee with a face on it cuz then they'll realize "oh it's a League drop JUST MAKE A NEW DROP THAT DOESN'T HAVE ANYTHING IN COMMON WITH LEAGUE LIKE COME ON, YOU HAVE SO MUCH INSPIRATION FROM THE GAME AND YOU CHOOSE TO CHANGE COLOURS AND PRINTS ON MODELS YOU ALREADY HAD THAT DON'T MAKE ANY SENSE?! COME ON.)

Louis Vuitton first hooked up with gaming in 2016 when they used Lightning from FFXIII as a model. I'm pretty sure they still keep in touch with Square Enix because in KHIII the cases that the team get their new outfits in are straight up LV cases that have been KH-ified. Roen made the outfits for Noctis and his crew for FFXV, and Acronym has that Death Stranding jacket. Watch Dogs Legion may not be officially tied to any fashion brands but the game has enough clothing to represent basically any style you want. Gaming and Fashion are only getting more involved with each other every year and I think that's sick!

Hey Antwon! New to your channel and love the content. Not sure if you or anyone has mentioned mustardbrand, lucajackets or volantedesign. -Mustardbrand has game inspired clothing with little to no branding depending on the piece. They make jackets, shirts, pants etc. -Volantedesign makes gaming/general nerd culture inspired jackets. They're normally a waxed or sealed canvas. I believe they play with other materials. -Luca Jackets do more obvious nerd culture gear. But they do make some general design leather jackets as well.

Here's some crazy expensive gaming merch: Capcom released 3 different ultra limited edition versions of Devil May Cry 5, that included the jacket of V, Nero or Dante and would cost ¥600K, ¥750K and ¥900K respectively which would convert to about £4300/€4800/$5600, £5400/€6000/$7000 and £6500/€7200/$8500 in today's money. Just to let you know, the cheapest edition is more expensive than a leather jacket by Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent and has the average price of a leather Louis Vuitton jacket...

Completely different question: Anyone here owns P10-DS? Don‘t have any Acr pants yet and after researching for a long time I still can‘t decide whether to order L or XL. L could be a little tight on the butt and have no stack at all on shoes. XL could be a little too wide and have a lot of stack on shoes. Measured though all of my pants and tried researching google. Didn‘t help. Would you rather go tight/no stack or loose/stack on these? Are these very tight in the groin area? Thx for your vids Antwon

This post (www.reddit.com/r/techwearclothing/comments/cpanci/acronym_p10s_enfin_leve_ameztu_comparison/) compares the P10-S with the Ameztu, both in size L. Stotz fits vastly differently from Dryskin and will affect the overall cut and silhouette of the pant on body , but length measurements should still be helpful. Hope this helps.
@dr.spekulatiusrealitaet8214
4 жыл бұрын
Ernest I weigh the same as the guy on reddit, but I’m considerably taller. I‘m slim (yet not skinny), but have a relatively large butt/groin area. That‘s why I usually wear a size less in length, compared to width (36 width and 34 length for non-stretch-denim). I‘ve got the feeling, that neither L nor XL would fit perfectly. It‘s probably rather either perfect width against perfect length. Not sure. I‘d usually go for the wider choice, but not sure, if P10 would look silly with to much stacking on the shoes.
